The meal came out pretty quickly and I excitedly took my first bite... and then retreated. The bread used for the philly cheesesteak was so dense, I could barely bite through the bread, nevertheless negotiate a bite through the steak and cheese on the inside. I decided to just eat the contents of the sandwich with a fork and knife. There was little evidence of the bread being toasted, which I think would have made the bread more supple for this type of sandwich. It was almost like the bread was only mostly baked, if that makes any sense. Anyways, thankfully the fries were edible and I ordered the mozzarella sticks. But $20 bucks for a sandwich and appetizer? it seems a bit expensive. I hope to try other things on the menu to see if my mind can be changed about this place.

I can tell you, Subway employees do not make a lot of money. After getting my order, and my drink... as I was walking out the door, I heard Isaiah tell the old man that was after me... that his card declined, again. I stood waiting... if the old man couldn't pay for his meal, I was going to pay for it, for him. Isaiah told the man that he could go ahead and take the sandwich. After a moment of hesitation, and insistence from Isaiah, the man walked away with his sandwich. I walked up to Isaiah and asked him if he would for me to pay for the man's food. Isaiah told me: "No, I got it." I assumed that Isaiah was going to comp it on the computer. Instead, Isaiah reached for his cash tips. I immediately, touched my card to the reader and paid for it. As I was walking out, tears flooded into my eyes. I turned back to Isaiah, and told him that he made me cry. I said, "You are so sweet, I can't believe that you were going to use you own tip money to pay for that man's sandwich. Isaiah completely melted my heart. So much compassion, at such a young age. I would imagine they don't get much business so I'm confused on how the service is so horrible. There was only 2 people in line but yet it took 20+ minutes to make 2 sandwiches. The worker who's name is "Aranda" was acting as if she was half sloth. And whoever her assistance was in the back peeped her head out, saw us in line and decided not to help. So my overall experience at this location was LESS THAN AVERAGE...don't waste you time, drive the extra miles to a real subway.
