Genuinely one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a subway. Go in and get a 6 inch spicy Italian sandwich and a 6 inch Italian sandwich, which I had to tell the guy, no joke, 5 times. Took him about 10 minutes to make our sandwiches and halfway through making our order, his friends walked in and he starts yapping to them while slowly making our food. Also got a single bag of chips and a Gatorade and was charged $30 which is absolutely outrageous. Unless you enjoy being scammed while having shitty customer service, I would NOT recommend eating at this subway! read more

I know that people usually review independent restaurants and that fast food is..well just that..fast food and you know what you are going to get, either good or bad. However, I have had such great experiences at the Subway on Dolson Ave in the ShopRite place in Middletown, that I had to leave a review. I can't believe I did not ask the employee what her name was, I was hoping it was on the receipt somewhere but it isn't. The young lady who is there every time I go there is easily the most pleasant and professional person I may have ever had wait on me. And not just in a fast food atmosphere. She was nicer, more genuine and enthusiastic than a concierge at the Waldorf Astoria. I hope the owner of the particular Subway gets a chance to read this and commend her and hopefully give her some type of monetary award for this feedback. Also, she was not just nice to me because I usually leave several dollars in the tip jar every time, but she is just as cordial and professional with every other customer I have seen her interact with. So, if you happen to be craving an artisanal sandwich made by a dedicated professional, look no further. read more

Very poor service. When we entered and asked to use our coupon, we were lied to and told the store didn't accept coupons. However, we were able to use the coupon on the app. We were told to come pick up the order in 20 minutes. When we went in to get it the worker says that she had not even started making our order, and we had to wait another 20 minutes for it to be made. While we waited, a long line of people formed and they were left waiting for service as there was only worker there. Overall, very poor service and would not recommend. read more

Every time I order from the Dolson Avenue Subway, they screw up my order! On a BLT, you're lucky if you get two pieces of bacon. They left out items I requested in my sandwich . They do not add the standard amount of food items that Subway dictates. They're super skimpy on lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, etc. read more

Don't go here. There are plenty of other good places to get a sandwich/sub around the area. The man behind the counter was almost annoyed that we were there. We ordered three simple subs and throughout the whole order he kept rushing us (it was only 5 pm.) He was borderline shouting at us. The bread was soggy, and he only put four slices of meat on our sandwiches. If you want a good sub, and much less aggressive service, go to Quickchek or the Subway in Walmart. read more

Subway #26421-0 125 Dolson Ave Middletown NY 10940. Served by 77 on 10/19/2020 4:45 PM. On the date & time indicated I visited this Subway store. I ordered a "FREE Footlong when you buy ANY Footlong" with the appropriate, valid Subway coupon. At the time of the order I showed the coupon to the man behind the counter so there would be NO confusion upon checkout. The man grunted at me. I don't know what kind of response that would indicate, but I continued on with the order. I noted that the man was NOT properly wearing the State Mandated face covering as it was slung down completely exposing his nose and partially exposing his mouth. A direct VIOLATION of the State of New York guidelines. The order continued with no communication from this man other than grunts, snaps, mumbles, and a feeble attempt to pronounce understandable words in the English language. And ALL in a condescending, obnoxious, angry manner. That we were able to make it through the order in this torcherous way was shocking. When it came time to pay for my order I was presented with a price that was clearly inconsistent with the BOGO order I just placed. This man, on his own volition, added to my order a "Fresh Value Meal (20/21- 20oz Fountain Drink, Chips for an additional $2.85. So, this order tallied at $11.61 instead of the $8.53 price based on the CORRECT charge. I asked this server why I was charged the additional cost of product that I DID NOT order, I was answered with even more aggressive, condescending, blatantly derogatory noises and actions that I can only describe as PREHISTORIC! My time was short, the store had three other patrons waiting, and out of respect for those people, I decided to end this transaction by paying the price and removing myself from the store before a full blown incident would take place. Based on the interaction I experienced up to this point, that incident would include unauthorized actions and audacious policy violations of your Corporation by this employee or Franchise owner. In conclusion I will bring to your attention that after this extremely unsatisfied experience, I perused Public Reviews of this particular store online, and found that MY encounter is NOT unique to this particular establishment. In fact, I implore you to conduct your own investigation into the complaints and unacceptable interactions that have been REPORTED at store #26421-0. It is a glaring indication of abandonment and a willingness to accept customer DISSATISFACTION when your corporation knowingly ignores the grievances and frustrations presented to you. REMOVE Server #77 from this store IMMEDIATELY, or suffer economic damage to your franchise brand! read more

They act like they have the ingredients coming out of their check. I ordered a turkey breast sandwich and he loads the turkey but give me 2 leaves of spinach and a half a slice of onion. Isnt meat more expensive? I ask for more spinach and onion and get the same thing. Nasty!!! Looks clean, but their prep of the food is horrible. Beware their food surface is not sanitary, the workers don't change their gloves, and you can see that the meat is old and slimy, crumbs everywhere. Not recommended! The guy prepping my sandwich had yellow puss and warts on his hands, he came from the back with dirty gloves carrying a tray then he decided it was okay to immediately make my meal. No thank you! I walked out. They deserve zero stars and an F. If they are that disgusting in front of me I could only imagine how the their back area looks. Plus the bread trays had crumbled bread. Yucky place.
