Extremely Unprofessional & Hostile Service I was picking up a DoorDash order for 13 cookies at this McDonald's. When I arrived, I was told the store "did not have the order." I immediately did the right thing and contacted the customer to inform them of the inconvenience. Instead of helping or explaining calmly, the employee working the drive-through became angry and unprofessional, telling me to leave the drive-through in a hostile tone. I parked and contacted DoorDash support, who instructed me to go back through the drive-through and place the order manually, assuring me DoorDash would cover it. When I tried to do that, the same employee raised his voice, arguing that DoorDash would not pay and repeatedly asking "who's gonna pay for it?" before forcing me to leave the drive-through again. After speaking with support a second time, I was told to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed, so I went back through, successfully placed the order, and proceeded to the window. Once the employee realized it was me, he refused to sell the cookies, even though: * The order was for a paying customer * The order was successfully placed * I was following DoorDash's instructions exactly He continued to show attitude, hostility, and aggression, became upset that I was recording for my own protection, and even attempted to take photos of me and my vehicle. He then threatened to report me to DoorDash despite the fact that I did nothing wrong and was only trying to complete a customer's order. This behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, and hostile. As a delivery driver simply doing my job and trying to satisfy a customer, I should never be treated this way. This situation could have been resolved calmly, but instead it was escalated entirely by the employee's conduct. I strongly recommend management and corporate review this incident, as this type of behavior reflects very poorly on the company and creates an unnecessary hostile environment for both customers and delivery drivers. read more

I went for an interview and it was the most unprofessional thing I have ever dealt with in my life I went in told the lady in the front I was here for an interview. She told the manager and I was told it would be a minute, and I ended up waiting 45 minutes and just leaving cause nobody's came to me. Nobody told me anything. Nobody came to reschedule. Disgusting is a word I would use to describe this place. The service is absolutely horrid. It took twenty minutes for me to get 1 McFlurry. The workers are slow and look like they don't give a $h!+. I have been waiting for years for the McDonald's on Dolson to step up and serve quality but it has never come. If their objective is to strive to be mediocre they have achieved it. Cold burgers on dry buns stale fries. At one time they were adding so much salt that you couldn't eat them and when I brought it to the Mgrs. attention she looked at me like I was crazy. I don't go there anymore unless I'm just tired and don't want to drive to 211 where it's much better. I should know better than to expect anything good at this point but I keep making the mistake. Pretty poor location. Service very slow and sandwiches sloppily thrown together. Made my wife incorrect drink and agreed (not offered) to remake and bring out to us at table. Visibly peeved she wouldn't just take wrong one. After 10 min she went up to inquire and was told "oh that's right. I made it And it's over there. I didn't have a spoon to stir it". I had always heard about the saying in the food industry business that "the customer is always right." Obviously, once size doesn't fit all, and this isn't always necessarily the case. But I'd like to think the hard workers at restaurants at least considered this ideology. Not the case at this McDonalds. On a whim, I decided to revisit this particular McDonald's restaurant. I didn't remember why I stopped going, but I knew it had been a while. I noticed the new item on their menu: Sweet N' Spicy Honey BBQ glazed tenders. After ordering a sandwich, I thought I'd give the glazed tenders try, but just the 4 piece. You never know with fast food places. $4 isn't too bad, and it was priced the same as their crispy tenders. Usually, I look over the order monitor as I order, but mostly to confirm the items are correct. That's when I noticed the price was $4.37. More than what the outdoor menu offered, not by a lot, but definitely more. I tried pointing this out... to no avail. "The price I have here is $4.37. Do you want them or not?" Great... a he said she said situation. I offered to take a picture and physically show them, but they were so insistent about preserving their correctness that I suddenly remembered all the negative experiences from before that ultimately drove me away from this particular chain. From missing items in my orders, to the unacceptable quality of the food, to the unresponsive and uncaring management, this is too much even for a self-acclaimed "more tolerant than most" me. While I let those previous instances go, I felt compelled to speak out after yet another service disaster. Some might point out that $0.37 (plus tax) is hardly worthy of such nitpicking. And ultimately, perhaps that is true. But the loss of quality service speaks volumes more than those tens of cents. Just my two cents. If I could give 0 stars I would! Where do I begin.......not only was the woman unable to count my change and give me the correct amount, she was surprised when I corrected her and insisted she give me my dollar. She actually said "You really want your dollar back?" When my son looked in the bag the order was wrong. With attitude she directed me to pull into a spot to wait, where they let us wait and wait. In the meantime my family began to eat their meal when my son's girlfriend told everyone to stop eating because she found 2 long hairs in her quarter pounder deluxe. I sent my son and his girlfriend in to bring this to their attention and they were dismissed with 2 apple pies and a replacement sandwich (which was incorrect and looked like garbage. Wow I am so shocked that others have rated this McDonald's so low! I was blown away by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the McGriddle I had. During my first bite into the McGriddle, I experienced a combination of sweet and savory. That's my favorite combination. (All my friends tell me that I am SWEET! But sometimes savory hehe ;) anyways, back to the McGriddle lol. I dipped my second bite into syrup that was already on the table I was sitting at. So as you could probably guess this bite was about 90% Sweet and only 10% savory! Once I finished my McGriddle I felt satisfaction I cannot Even describe in words. Typical McDonald's, but the remodel was nice. Service is usually better than what you would expect at a typical fastfood joint. They are experimenting with new self-order kiosks, of which I am not a fan of. They are also delivering to your table if you order in. This franchise supposedly offered a free meal to medical workers during the COVID crisis, but my wife who is a CNA was treated horribly by the staff. Not only were they discourteous but they got the order wrong - so the second meal she ordered ending up being $6 for a sausage biscuit! Wonderful treatment of medical workers! We will never go back. Not a great experience. There were bees and flies in the restaurant. The food was pretty bland and not much flavor. The coffee has way too much sugar. Ordering from the kiosk is not easy especially if you want to do a special order. Better off ordering from a real life person. read more

This has got to be the worst McDonald's on the planet. My son who is Autistic love McDonald's fries. On this particular day I went into the McDonald's on Dolson Ave opting out going through the Drive Thru. The reason for me not going through the drive thru was the lines were long. My son likes hot fries freshly made to order". I go up to the register and a young man takes my order for fries, 1 small order and 1 large fries and a medium cup. The young man puts my order in but he puts it in as "Well Done". I says to the young man "I would like the fries Made to Order and not Well Done thanks". The young man didn't change the order from "Well Done" to "Made to Order" so when the manager and the other line workers got the order on their screen it said "Well Done". After my order was completely transacted I walks over to fill my sons medium cup with his Sprite that he likes, then I walk back to the counter to wait for my order. A young girl with short red hair yells to the young man very animated "Did you put a small fries and large fries in Well Done" he said no. I politely said to the young girl "Miss those fries were for Made to Order". The young girl aggravated at this moment said to her manager " I'm not making his fries". Once she said that I stayed quiet and hoped that the manager would step in but she didn't. Not only did the manager had hostile words about me she generated this negative attitude towards me. She told another person or manager over the phone I was being "EXTRA". I would NEVER and have NEVER said anything disrespectful to anyone at any establishment while they are making a living. To put things into further context about this situation with the employees and manager. Their was. A women was in the store talking to the same A woman who happen to a white women was very upset that she got home and her sandwich order was wrong. When the manager brought my fries over I didn't even want to take the bag from her because I am black and didn't want anyone to say I snatch anything out of their hands. I stood in the same spot she dropped the bag on the counter and I left the same way I came in polite and positive. Don't go to this McDonald's at night it is horrible. The daytime staff is ok . I enjoy dining at this McDonald's very much. They are very pleasant as soon as you walk in. They are so used to me that the momen I walk in, they start to get my order together. This shows great attention to detail since I order the same thing every time. Manager Raymound is exceptionally polite and friendly. He makes sure my orders are filled quickly and correctly. Workers Patrick and Sarah are just as friendly and detail oriented. They along with manager Raymound make this McDonald's a great place to dine. In addition to great customer service, the restaurant is always clean and the soda bar is always filled. Because it is a McDonald's, I think it is important for people and the managers to know when the workers are doing a good job. Often people have a little perception McDonald's because it is a fast food place but this McDonald's makes it very personal and overall an enjoyable place to dine at. read more
