I got the Bub burgers with fries, and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes, which was perfect for a quick lunch break. The burgers are consistently good, and I've never really had a problem with my orders. They did forget my pickles today, which was a little disappointing because... the pickles matter! But overall, still a good quick lunch spot. Parking can be a little tricky depending on the time, but nothing too crazy. If you're in the area and want a fast, no-fuss burger, Bubs gets the job done.

But...the food just wasn't good and it's expensive. A smash burger, very small order of fries, and and extra patty with cheese all in was $24!! The fries were terrible. No flavor other than that of old grease. The burger wasn't good. Not juice AT ALL. Tasted like it had been pre made. The lettuce was wilty. I dunno. Maybe this was an off day? I just don't get the hype. You want a great smash burger? Head to The Husky where you can get an amazing burger, phenomenal friends, WITH AN OLD FASHIONED for $20!

I tried it a second time (through Uber eats) and ordered the same thing. I got a bacon cheeseburger "all the way". All the way refers to a set list of condiments, or toppings. You can also pick and choose on line. Pretty easy. Small fries. THE FOOD: Yes, the bacon cheeseburger is awesome and tasty and juicy and BIG. The ingredients and meat and bun are fresh, and really good. Pretty darn good fries too. In the restaurant, they have baskets of peanuts to munch on while you wait for food. Neato!

When I walked in, I was ignored for several minutes by employees who appeared uninterested in helping customers. Eventually, one employee (dude with dreads) came over and took my order, but his attitude was extremely rude, dark, and dismissive. I am typically a generous tipper, but due to his behavior, I chose not to leave a tip. After this, he went into the kitchen area where I observed him whispering and laughing with another employee while looking in my direction. Based on what I saw, I became concerned that my food may have been tampered with, which is completely unacceptable and a serious matter. Feeling uncomfortable and unsafe, I requested a refund. The manager processed it, but also did so with a poor attitude. During this interaction, the employee continued staring at me in an extremely intimidating way. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. This is one of many poor experiences I've had at this location. The overall atmosphere and customer service here is deeply unprofessional and unsettling! I would rate zero stars if that were an option.

I came in for an early dinner and was seated promptly. The dining room is like a mix of an old school local restaurant and what the fellowship hall in the church I grew up in looked like. Specific reference, but that is to say that it's not modern or instagrammable or anything but that's kind of the point. It's comfy. Their menu is concise so it's not too hard to figure out what you want. Probably not the best place to bring a vegetarian. I was super hungry after a full afternoon of walking across town and through City Park so I went for the 1/4 chicken and rib combo plate. You can choose which chicken parts you want (I'm a dark meat person) and your sides. I went with the cole slaw and the green beans. The chicken is fried to order, but even so I feel like the food came out quickly, probably in ten minutes or so. And piping hot, too. The chicken was perfectly fried, seasoned, and so juicy. The ribs fell off the bone, and I barely even needed to use my teeth at all. Cole slaw is pretty standard. Green beans are stewed super soft but so long as you don't hate a soft green bean they are really good...like, weirdly flavorful for a side of green beans. I generally prefer an al dente green bean but I still enjoyed them. You had better come hungry like I did or prepare to bring some home with you. I had really good service here, even though it seemed like the guy was on his own for the dining room and takeout orders which is a lot. He was really warm and friendly with everyone in the dining room and super prompt with everything. I only wish they gave out wet wipes for people having ribs or fried chicken! This is the kind of place that if I lived here I'd be visiting regularly, and it seems like people do. While I was there I noticed that a few tables were, indeed, regulars. Yes, the word Dixie is reminiscent of the confederacy and slavery, and honestly the restaurant could consider a renaming. However, I did see people of all races being treated well in this restaurant, so do with that what you will. Overall, really good food for good value, and great service. Worth a visit!

I pulled up on a Sunday and since I called it in just under an hour before closing, I decided to get it to go. I ordered it about twenty minutes out and when I arrived, it was ready. The takeout process was in itself unique. I pulled up to what they called a "yellow tollbooth) to pay. He called on his radio that I paid and I pulled up to a covered door and they handed off my food. The overall ambiance from outside looked cool enough. Next time, I will eat it there, but I just did not want to be inconsiderate to everyone getting out on time. I found a local park and tore into my food. I went with the large surf and turf po' boy (roast beef and shrimp) and found it very good. For the price point, out the door with taxes, it was just over twenty dollars. this is the second time that I've ordered from this particular location here on a business trip and…read morethe burger literally looked like it's been ran over by a truck and Box is ice cold and zero appeal. lDRY AS HELL and salty look at the cheese awful granted I ordered through DoorDash, but the burger was done in my app in less than five minutes. I don't understand how you can make a double burger two strawberry shakes and some onion rings and 5 to 10 minutes . I am so livid so I decided to call the store to speak to a manager because you know dealing with DoorDash is like talking to a wall so I call and speak to this manager he was zero help and very u professional what a representative for your company. I do understand that I ordered from a third-party but the point is that you guys cook the food? The point is that the food was cooked at Shake shack so whether a third-party got in here in 10 or 15 minutes being that my hotel is directly down the street makes it worse i believe 2 miles. it's is ridiculous to me. The food came out. I don't know if it's been sitting under the light or whatever but the cheese looks horrible. This is a terrible burger .like ma'am we make the food and the food is given to you and whatever they do to get it to you us on DoorDash that's what what you receive. I explained to him this is Not an edible burger burnt and covered in salt. . I am so upset the next time I come in town I will absolutely positively never ever ever eat at this place again it is disgusting. It is disgrace poor customer service. Very disappointed Door dash and shake shack zero this literally looks as if someone was picking on it also what happen to the lettuce and tomato?? All i wanted was a fresh burger .... $40 down the drain 1double burger 2 strawberry Shakes 1onion ring
