It is clean and was decorated with different Middle Eastern pictures and homey items. Service: 3.75 Stars The family own and operated staff are friendly and professional. They made some recommendations and we ordered our food. It took about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Food: 3.5 Stars The Turkish coffee was wonderful. Robust and had the hint of cardamom, cinnamon and other spices. Though a hot drink, it was refreshing to taste. 3.5 Stars We had the Lamb and Chicken Gyros. Both were large and tasty. However, some parts of the meat were slightly dry. The fresh, hot fries were a delight. Appetizer: 3 Stars The fried Sambosa was ok. It tasted more "store" bought than homemade. The chicken was good but I was expecting chicken peas or other veggies in it too. The seasoning was ok. Dessert: 2.75 Baklava- the order came with one pastry cut into two small pieces. Not a shareable item. You could put both pieces in your mouth. Too small and it tasted "store bought" again. I could be wrong and it not a major criticism. Just more of an observation and a reference what I won't order the next time we stop by. Overall: we will be back to taste other food options and the friendly staff.

The problem was the taste. That iced coffee was liquid diabetes and I left it sitting in my car once I got home I was so over it. I'm not just giving it one star for the horribly made iced coffee. Allegedly, I was informed that things are prepared without gloves. Ice dispenser... no gloves. I was shocked at the notion so I don't think I'll be making another visit until I hear some improvements and requirements have been implemented.

That's the whole point of it. In today's business environment, speed and convenience matter more than ever, and Jack's simply doesn't deliver on that basic expectation. I've stopped multiple times at the Meridian, Mississippi location. The food itself is solid. In fact, their chicken tenders are better than Zaxby's, Raising Cane's, and most competitors--crispy, flavorful, and consistently well-cooked. When Jack's gets it right, the product stands out. But the operational side is disorganized to the point of being unacceptable. A simple chicken biscuit in the morning can take up to 30 minutes. That defeats the entire purpose of fast food. Larger orders are even worse. I've placed family meal orders, driven to the restaurant, and found that the order hadn't even been started. That's not a delay--that's a breakdown. At that point, the experience becomes confrontational. You have to push just to get what you already ordered. Eventually, the food comes out, but by then the frustration outweighs the quality. I often leave saying I won't come back. And yet, I do--because the alternatives are just not as good. That's the irony. Jack's has a superior product but undermines it with poor execution. To make matters worse, the pricing doesn't match the experience. For the delays, inconsistency, and lack of urgency, the cost is simply not reasonable. Jack's has the potential to dominate in its category, but until it fixes its operations, it will continue to lose credibility with customers who value both quality and time.
