I sat at the bar and was greeted warmly by all of the staff members. The bartender was so kind and welcoming. I enjoyed their Easy Street gin cocktail and I ordered the yellowfin tuna for my meal. The tuna was DELICIOUS. The vibe is very calming and HG seems like a very nice place to unwind. They had a lot of regulars which is always a good sign. I can't recommend this place enough. They have a variety of options. Ambiance: 3 Stars There are plenty of tables and bench seating. It is clean and music isn't too loud. Which is good, cuz when it is busy the noise level will increase. Staff: 3.5 Stars The employees were friendly and efficient. We received our food within 5 minutes. Also, don't forgot their drive thru. It seems they copied the drive thru setup from another chicken place nearby. Food: 3 Stars I ordered the Big Zax Snakwhich consist of fries, toast, and three chicken tenders. The tenders had a light coating of flour and were crunchy and hot. However, I prefer my battered a little bit more flatly and crunchy. The seasoning is minimal on the tenders which gives you the option to taste their different sauces. I had the Zax sauce, their rendition of "Come Back" sauce. The sauce was too salty for my taste. I should have asked for the Spicy Zax Sauce which suppose to be less salty. Fries were good, hot and crunchy. So if you in town or driving through Meridian, stop by and get yourself a healthy salad with tenders on top or do what I did. Enjoy!
