The second time we were told on the phone our order would be ready in twenty minutes. Forty minutes later we were still waiting. We don't know if the food was good or not because we haven't actually been successful in retrieving our food from this establishment. The restaurant is always crowded so there must be something desirable about it, but if you want your food as a family of four or you don't want to wait excessively long periods of time then go somewhere else. We tried, they didn't. Never again for our family!

The first whiff that greeted me was coffee which made me want to come and enjoy a coffee in the cute sitting area over to the side; but the second whiff told me their kitchen lacks adequate ventilation because burnt grease was the next smell that I noticed throughout my visit. The food ordered was tasty. I hope the menu will be extended once they've been open for a while. Items for sale in the counters are not advertised well with no signage nor price listing, making one unsure if they are for sale or for in-house use only. Service was very attentive and drinks were refilled often. Staff were professionally dressed in matching tshirts which added something positive to the atmosphere. Staff were constantly checking on customers, serving customers or fulfilling their needs. It was a joy seeing customer-oriented staff without seeing anyone standing around on their phone which can be seen often in other restaurants! The bathrooms were clean and accessible. All in all, I hope customers try this new business and make it a success. With a few additions, this new business could become a standout downtown location for a good breakfast, lunch, or anytime snack. I will return for a coffee or gelato. I hope to see more standout menu items added in the future.
