I had a major problem with a purchase from WD but Danielle who is the Deli Manager made things right. She was VERY POLITE AND APOLOGETIC. She Is the epitome of outstanding customer service and Winn Dixie should be proud to have her on staff. Thank you Danielle! read more

I mean... As with what seems to be the last several reviews I have written about places I've checked out; I was not by any means impressed by this Winn Dixie. Hubs and I stopped by (we have been here before but it's been about three years since the last time we were here) just to grab a few fixings for some simple meals. We were thoroughly unimpressed with the selection of fresh vegetables in particular, but fruits were lacking as well. Everything essentially was kind of a struggle, and I don't necessarily feel that there was anything particularly good about the prices. On the upside, they did have a decent section for their 'more natural/healthy' options, so if you're looking for that, you may have some luck in that department. Overall, I mean if you must get groceries and this is the only place you have to go, I guess, but if you can find somewhere else, that would probably be better. read more

Not being from here after dripping my grandson off to school, I found my way to this location for one item, $115 later... well, you know the drill, go in for 1 item and come out with 20. I was in the store before 8 am-the produce section was fully stocked. The store was clean and organized. There was only self-check-out available, there was a store employee, who didn't greet me when I walked up to scan my items, nor did she speak a word to me when leaving the store and I walked between her and 2 other employees standing there talking. No one ever acknowledged the fact that I was there. Not a deal breaker, I would definitely shop there again. read more

I don't get to Meridean often but when I do I always stop at Will-Dixie. They have stuff I just can't find locally.

Below Zero Stars!!Nobody EVER answers the phone in the pharmacy. EVER! If you're trying to call in a refill ahead of time and avoid having to wait an hour when you get there to pick up your prescription, you're assed out! Their pharmacy is reduced! read more

Always crowded and hard to find a parking space but they have everything I need. Not easy to get in and out of as it sits near a busy intersection and traffic is a nightmare. Also has a red box which makes it more appealing. Of course, that particular one is almost always out of new release DVDs or is having technical difficulties. This location also has a great beer and snack food selection as well as seafood and a huge variety of produce and breads and other baked goods. read more

I went in today to the hot food station and got 3 wings and 3 tenders for me and my father his wings were good, but when i opened my tenders they were cold and chewy.. Very disappointed i ended up throwing them away. read more

Have been shopping there for over three years. Probably spent $25,000 or so there during that time. They have the best selection in town. Unfortunately I will never shop there again. This is due to the nasty and aggressive behavior of one staff member in the deli section. Management is aware of who he is. He is permitted to show disgust and contempt for customers. He is consistently rude and disrespectful and clearly hates his job. He is so nasty I feel the need to position myself so I can see what he is doing to my food for fear of something nasty and gross. I can't understand why management allows him to continue to treat customers like that. He is losing customers for the store. He has lost this one for good. read more

I would give it a5 most of the time however, woman in charge of bakery is very. Rude. Does she not want her job? The deli needs to go to "polite school" No smile, no greeting, displays a "donot. Bother me Attitude. Others through out store very helpful, especially frozen desert stocker! And checkout people. read more

I went in here on my way home from Gulfport looking specifically for some Sure-Jell because I had some dewberries at home that I wanted to make jam with. I have been unable to find Sure-Jell anywhere. This Winn-Dixie was remodeling and there were construction materials eveywhere as I walked through the door. No, No Sure-Jell either. After fighting all that traffic to get to a major chain grocery store which I thought would SURELY have SURE-Jell I leave disappointed. This is the SOUTH and I know there are plenty of older generation people out there who still do their own canning, pickling and make their own jellies and jams. I would have given this place a one but it looked like the isles and checkout lanes were clean of construction debris. Maybe when they get through renovating it will be better and GET SOME SURE-JELL!!! read more

Great store with great deals but the guy in the deli section obviously doesn't want to be there trying to get him to cut meat for you is very awkward because it's so obvious he's pissed you're making him do it. Has happened several times I'm sure plenty of people would love to have that job and do it right. Would be a much better store without him In it read more

This Winn-Dixie gets a five star from me this week. They have renovated and gave everything sparkling clean and shelves are well stocked. Workers asked if they could be of help as I looked for items. Lots of buy one - get one free were available. The prices seemed very competitive also. read more

I called ahead to make sure they had WILD caught salmon. They told me they did. I show up they say they only have the entire fish, not filets. J asked if they could cut it for me and then apparently they realized they didn't even have that...? Not sure what the actual story was but I was disappointed. read more

This WinnDixie store has a wonderful section of Organic and sprouted breads in the frozen section!

I went to the Deli to get sliced lunch meat. The guy at counter was busy talking with another employee. I told him what I wanted and how I wanted it sliced. He shoved a yellow tablet to me on the top of the counter and told me to sign my name and what I wanted. I asked why I never had to do that before. He said 4 people were in front of me. I was the only customer standing at the counter. He said the others were shopping and will return to pick up their order. If he had 4 other customers, why was he not slicing their lunch meat? I told him what I wanted and went on my way, only to get a few things. I returned, still had to wait, as he had not started cutting my order. All the while focused on talking to girl in the upper Deli section, not paying attention to what he was doing. I got home and 1/4 of my order was cut so thin I could not pick up a piece without it falling apart. I wanted it thick enough to spread something on it and roll it up to take to a party. If this continues I will go to Walmart Neighborhood Grocery store. read more
