The staff kept the tables and areas clean, and the add on items like beer and cake were neatly displayed One of the interesting options Newks offers lets you pair items like pizza, soup, salad, etc. you can get a full personal pizza and a half salad. The pizza options are neat with delicious looking classics as well as a spicy shrimp, and a couple other intriguing options. The salads aren't just your average house or Caesar salad but have many components Some tips: The Southern Half Salad was tasty, and paired well with the Newk's Supreme. Don't order a 4oz ranch on the side (at the front). Instead, simply ask the server that brings your food and salad for extra ranch for your salad. Had a very solid Greek salad, they didn't skimp on toppings which I appreciate, it was about $10 which is a great deal for a salad of this size. Service is polite but I think the staff person was new as he was pretty frazzled. The restaurant was super clean and seating was abundant, I didn't feel like hanging out so I took my salad to go. I love Newk's but I cannot recommend this location. I ordered a French Dip or something along those lines, the beef was purple. I ended up swapping for something else. The Italian sub was grate it was traditional it had some spice it did not have oil and vinegar so not to traditional. Been to a Newk's and this one is just like the rest menu wise. The staff was quick to take my order and they were friendly. The food came out fast, correct and hot. This was my first time trying their pizza not to bad average. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. Not much more you can say about a chain restaurant. read more

Ehh...had the ham and Swiss sandwich and a Cobb salad. It was just okay for me. The salad had a lot of big white chunks of lettuce that had started to turn pink. The blue cheese dressing was creamy and great. The extra small tomatoes were sour. The sandwich was decent but it just didn't quit knock my socks off. The pasta salad was good though. I would like to try the pizza next time. For the sandwich and the salad (no drinks) I paid $23.29. The free crunchy straw-like breadsticks were good. read more

Always been a fan of Newks, I eat at the one near my home in Florida often, so I was excited to see one, to say the least being this is such a small city. This location is in a strip plaza. The restaurant wasn't full when I arrived to place my order. The employee taking my order was extremely nice and customer service friendly. The cake is always a must when I eat here. I don't like pumpkin and she suggested the pumpkin spice cake-I was like oh, no thank you? she stated, "I promised you'll like it, you don't taste the pumpkin, it's like a spice cake with cream cheese frosting, and if you don't like it bring it back. Well, to my surprise, the cake was moist and delicious. The restaurant was clean but the drink section could use some attention, otherwise, I'd definitely visit again. read more

1) tried to order thru their kiosk. Ran my card thru their machine, it read approved but then the kiosk said the transaction failed to send. My order never went through but the charge on my card went thru. Twice. 2) once we got our food, the Mac and cheese was not heated thru. My daughter had already put her fork in the food when we realized it was cold. I alerted the staff member who took it to tell the kitchen. I assumed they would make a new order since it was contaminated and instead they just heated her same dish and returned it. We just stopped here on a family road trip. We have never been to a Newk's until now and we were very impressed! Great food options, friendly staff and super clean tables, bathrooms, etc. Reminded us a lot of a McAlister's / panera vibe. I got the chicken bacon club and a southwest salad with the chicken salad on top. Dad loved his Italian sandwich, and my mom and daughter loved the tomato basil soup and their pizza. The kitchen staff was aware of the flaws and hooked us up. But it still was a 30 minute process before we got bold. The chicken on the pizza was dry and obviously our experience wasn't great. So compared to other Newks, this was subpar. But it is still a good dining experience in the grand scheme of other places on the same level. And average experience overall. read more

Fast and fresh. The food is so consistent here. Prices aren't terrible either for the food. I always order the Black and Bleu salad tossed with ranch or the NewksQ with a bowl of soup. I really miss the roasted garlic, pickles and peppers that was a staple and iconic piece of their dining experience. However like most things during the unnecessary COVID hysteria restaurants like Newks did away with so many of the things that set them apart and as patrons continued to patronize them they never brought back the items preferring to prioritize profits over the customers dining experience. read more
