Look, it's Subway. I've been to Subway's all over the country and the consistency is the best part. There are a couple of sandwich chains I prefer but my son wanted a turkey sandwich from Subway as we were in the area for a large track meet. The staff at this location was fast and friendly. They made our sandwiches as ordered and right on time. We ended up sitting in the shop to eat and it was clean. Clear that this franchisee and the staff take pride in presentation and professionalism. read more

Let me just say, I watched this team power through 7 sandwiches in 7min. This was just before noon, so the lunch rush was on. And if it weren't for one couple taking forever figuring out their payment, I would have gotten out in 6min. Miguel, Maria, and Solomon really had a system down and wow did it shine. Miguel must be the manager because he was preparing all the veggies and sides with a smile. And he was quick! I hope the team sees this review because you threw where impressive! And I had an additional 3 people behind me read more

Very nice location. Quick and easy. You even allowed to order and pickup. Noor took my order and she was so polite and patient. Everything taste fresh and very delicious. Sort of strange that they were out of straws and I had to get one from a nearby location but who doesn't have a weird day every once in a while. What I thought was very nice were the labels they use to seal the sandwich paper and the sturdy yellow lids on the drinks. Makes pickup look professional. Very lovely location and I would definitely come back read more

Sandwiches were a little sad and puny. Ordered online so I didn't see them making it. Ordered 2 footlongs and both were thin as pancakes. Granted, how much can you expect from Subway but still, I will order elsewhere if there is a next time. read more

the most apathetic and incompetent staff I have ever encountered. Overcharged debit card and they had no clue what to do. So I called Miquel Mejia, the ph number on the storefront. That turned out to be just a ph number for the store. I asked when he will be in. "Monday and Friday mornings" was the response. Perhaps he should spend more time training an uncaring staff, before he loses even more business. I have two words for all who read this: JERSEY MIKES Nuff said. read more

Driving in the car on a rainy day last week, I heard a commercial for the rainy day specials at Subway where you buy 1 six inch sub and a 30 oz drink and get another 6 inch sub free! Seems like a solid deal. I happened to have an appointment in the shopping center with this Subway and a warm toasty sub sounded good. Unfortunately, this location doesn't participate in the rainy day deals. It's not at all the Subways :( Since I was already there I got a sandwich and it was well prepared with a hard working staff but just a PSA for anyone else hoping for a deal on one of our few rainy LA days! read more

I have been to subways that aren't run very well but I can't say that about this one. As soon as I walked in Miguel greeted me with a smile on his face. He made my sandwich perfectly. Also the other ladies who have helped me in the past were great to. I will stop by this location more often. read more

The staff here were so sweet and helpful! Everything was made quickly and with a smile; super tasty and an overall great time :)

This Subway is fantastic. I pass this Subway going to and from the Beach. There is plenty of parking and the staff is always friendly with smiles all around. This subway attracts my type of crowd, surfers with sandy feet & athletes coming and going from local gyms. I am a huge fan of subway and this location might be my favorite of all. I will continue to give this place my business because you always feel welcome and the staff is just great. read more

Great staff, very clean and is a Manhattan Beach hangout for old and young, with everything made fresh every day.

Subway is the best! Best value, most variety and I love the flat bread. The monthly special is always a good deal and I like getting the chicken noodle soup instead of the chips. Highly recommend this place for it's good service and good value. read more

Local subway is staffed with a great caring staff over the new year holiday. The sandwiches are always good. But service is special here. Sarah thank you for helping us today and sharing love of tuna fish ! Keeping the customers coming back making a good plain simple sandwich with a smile read more

Well there are at least hundreds of Subways out there, and why am I reviewing this one??? I enjoyed their customer service! At least for the later evening hours, their two male staffs are extra friendly!! They are so attending to their customers needs! And they don't rush through the process so your sandwhich doesn't taste soggy. The only complaint I have of this place is there is no restrooms and the facility is really really small. Other then that they as the staffs are A-Ok! read more

This is by far my favorite Subway. The folks working area always friendly. And if you're looking up Subway reviews or looking for a Subway to grab a bite, you already know what you're gonna get. The food is pretty much the same everywhere you go. It's the people that make the difference. Parking is shared with the Goodwill, Coffee Bean, Kinkos/FedEx, El Sombrero Mexican Food, Chase Bank, LA Fitness, etc. so there is a good amount of spaces available. read more

BEST SUBWAY IN LA! Always fast, fresh, and friendly. The sandwich artists are genuine happy! The proof is in your sandwich. Can download app and have sub waiting... Amazing. Personal fav: SUB CLUB w/provolone, spinach, tomatoes, little mayo and o/v with a bag of Lay's and s small coke. All under 10$ and 10 minutes- sold. read more

Subway - a sub sandwich and salad in plastic containers - Fast Food Near Me - Manhattan Beach, California

Though the food is much the same from one Subway to another, the service can make a world of difference. This is a very popular takeout location (only a very few tables, indoors and out) and gets quite crowded at noon, but the people who work there are totally professional. They get the orders right, and, best of all, they actually know how to make a sandwich! Unlike most Subways, where you can find yourself with a rolled-up, wet mess of bread with filling smeared over the outside and an edge of the paper wrapping caught in the middle, these people make good, solid, edible sandwiches, and maintain a friendly, pleasant attitude while doing it. Now, if we could just get the nitwits who come in with a list of eight sandwiches for co-workers, and SEPARATE ENVELOPES TO PAY FOR THEM SEPARATELY, to either call in their orders ahead of time, or not show up during the lunch hour... ! read more

I don't normally write reviews for fast food-chain restaurants but I'm making an exception in this case in the hopes that both management and customers might read this. You see, I patronize this subway on a regular basis. The food tastes just like any other subway, so that part is irrelevant. Here is what's important Customers; This is a busy subway in a prime location. As such, there is generally a line going outside the door. The door is narrow and will not accommodate more than 1 person at a time. Because of this, when I line up, I always wait outside the door until a space opens up in front of me. The person in line behind me sees this, I assume, and they also see the happy customers leaving the subway through the open door. So then please, for the love of god, someone, explain WHY the person behind me feels the need to block the door once I slide into the open spot inside the subway!!! Customers, Don't block the door OK? Get it? Got it? Good! Management- You guys have 7 employees working the lunch rush, the bottle neck occurs at the register. I don't care how many people you have adding condiments (trust me, 1 is plenty), the line isn't going to go any faster than the person working the register. Also, I get that you probably need to rotate the register person to keep your employees from getting bored, but c'mon, we NEED a specialist here, someone who is fast and knows all the keys. Finally, we need another register, if you can't fit one (I know space is tight) how about someone with a money belt standing in front of the rear door? Just a thought. read more

Out of all the Subway's in the South Bay, avoid this one. Last few visits have been challenging -and will no longer go there: 1: Girl wiped her nose on her sleeve while making my sandwich six times and coughed repeatedly into my food. 2: Girl took my change and dumped it in her tip jar without asking - so rude 3: Submitted my complaint to the Subway Corporate Office two weeks ago and zero follow up. read more

Came for some breakfast sandwiches. I stopped in since it was next to the gym, and I got done earlier. I've never picked up breakfast from a Subway because I was skeptical about the eggs. I ordered a breakfast melt (i think that's what it was called), and a bacon-egg-cheese muffin for her. The guy starts wrapping the sandwiches up, and I had to remind him that he hadn't placed any eggs in it. So now I have to wait for him to nuke the eggs. The sandwich was okay. It was a little off, but I don't know that I'd make a habit out of grabbing breakfast at Subway anyway. The concept of microwaved eggs is still "no bueno" to me. read more

Edit: Went there again and it was much better. WOW!! What just happened ?!!!! I think I was almost poisoned I knew they didn't know what they were doing from the minute I walked in but this was a complete disaster... I think they nearly burned the place down. Subway - #subway in #manhattanbeach - Fast Food Near Me - Manhattan Beach, California

So food was ok but the service was below average. The guy behind the counter seemed like I was annoying him by just being there. And he would cut me off when I was ordering because apparently he can only handle one piece of information at a time. Then there was a girl cleaning up the customer area who just left an empty bag of trash sitting right where I needed to go to fill up my drink, which was not very appetizing. So overall experience was poor. read more

Consistently fresh, great quality, nice vegetarian sandwich options, and the ice tea is excellent. I like the promo offers that are sent via text, which are great deals. Also you can get the egg or egg white, your preference, at any hour. The customer service is excellent sometimes and at others it's standard. This is a small store and I believe the rushed feeling that is apparent when there is a line of customers contributes to the less than excellent customer service. Ample parking, but you may find the only available seat to enjoy your food is inside of your automobile. There is no restroom so you may want to plan for that inconvenience, according to what you need in order to be comfortable. read more

Just picked up BOGO. A pastrami (Almost $10) and a Italian BMT. The pastrami was the worst pathetic sandwich I ever had at Subway. It appears the BOGO means let's put 1/2 in the normal sandwich and see if they notice! Don't bother to order online go in person so you can see what you are going to get. read more

For some reason Subway has always let me down and this one was one of the worst. First off, the workers who help me are always obnoxious jackasses. Every single time I go to a Subway there's an unprofessional idiot wasting my time, pretending not to hear my order and joking around. Seriously who hired these idiots? This store is a joke and the worker deserves a punch in the face. read more

Worst customer service. I ordered a veggie and they were huffing and puffing when I asked for more spinach !!! There's no meat on the sandwich- you need to put veggies so there's actually something to eat! Also asked for a glass of water for my baby and was refused!! After I spent $30 on subs!! Not only is this against the law but disgusting. I will be contacting corporate. Amy needs a lesson in customer service as well as the manager on duty on Sunday March 9 at 1pm. read more

You know it's subway, but as cheap fast food goes this place is getting 4 stars because the staff here was super friendly compared to most disgruntled minimum wage jobs. Great job. The sandwiches, well for subway a little better than usual. read more

I rarely write reviews. Ordered 2 sandwiches on line and picked up in store. Both sandwiches were wrong. I was starving and was quite frustrated. Immediately called and requested to speak to manager Miguel. I also offered to send photo of order receipt and sandwiches for proof and was turned down. Assistant manager David said come back again with the sandwiches. Seriously? Uber back and forth again would cost lots more than the 2 sandwiches. David said that manager Miguel was busy and will call back. Now 8 hrs later and Subway is closing and Miguel never called back. Called again and Adam said both David and Miguel are not working? This is not the 1st time that this location made the wrong sandwiches with on line order and they offer NO solution. If you like to eat sandwiches that are NOT what you order, please come here. They don't give a crap about your order on line. This Subway acts as though "With you without you we still have very good business so we don't give a damn" Extremely rude and unprofessional. read more

I like this location :) the veggies were fresh (always important) the team building my sandwich did it neatly so it would be easy to eat but still quick enough to keep the line moving during the lunch rush. I will be back read more

Great service! The sand which had perfect proportions. My experience was great until some kid walked in with a camera, I could tell the staff knew him and where concerned by their worried faces. Almost immediately after walking through the door this kid yells "WHATS UP YOUTUBE ITS BC VLOGS BACK AT IT AGAIN" A this point the staff is trembling and stared with languish at Their bowl of free mints. I bit I to my foot-long which I had ordered with extra lettuce(I'm trying to eat healthier) and was pleased with the craftsmanship with which it was made. What I wasn't pleased with was the deafening nose of "BC VLOGS" thrusting his hand into the bowl of mints and tearing out handfuls, like a greedy child during Halloween. The staff looked on hopelessly and one of the female staff members began to sob into her apron. One of the employees managed the courage to say "sir c-could you please take one?" BC VLOGS snapped this attention towards the employee and pointed the camera into his soul "I WILL FREAKING EXPOSE YOU-YOU GAYBOY, DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY SUBSCRIBERS I HAVE?!"-that is an exact quote. As I chew my sandwich, feeling like a fine food connoisseur, BC VLOGS was chewing out the staff looking like and ass connoisseur. Overall my experience was very nice and i hope to return soon for my next meal. read more
