Subway has two locations inside the Manchester Arndale, this location is inside the Food Court at Kiosk 7.
The seating area is shared with the rest of the Food Court, with extra seating at the mall level, downstairs, in front of Boots, so you shouldn't struggle to find somewhere to sit down and eat, even at busier times.
It is a pretty good location, the sandwich artist who served me seemed friendly, and I appreciated how he appeared to wipe everything down and change his gloves, after making him aware I was gluten-free, to minimise cross-contamination.
I ordered a gluten-free tuna and cheese sub with lettuce, onion, cucumber and tomato and extra mayo, it was made correctly, the bread had been toasted for long enough to the point it began to soften without drying out, which I appreciated as the gluten-free bread from Subway can be inconsistent based on how long it's been frozen.
I was pleased with the number of toppings on the sandwich, it was a generous helping but not to the point it was overflowing and messy, it was hot and tasted good.
The prices seem to be slightly higher than Subway's other locations in town, but that means you get more from your rewards here if you're planning to use your points to pay
Subway cards are accepted to spend and earn points, and they also support online ordering, this is great to see as McDonald's elsewhere in the food court does not support this with their own system.
4* - A good Subway location that I will look forward to returning to. read more
