Subway on Parsonage Way in Leigh, a franchise owned by "Subway Parsonage" is a very good Subway location, it is one of the few modern, revamped locations in the UK to feature the new branding, so the store stands out and looks good in both the interior and exterior. It is in a good location within the retail park, next to Costa and a stone's throw away from a large Sainsbury's store.
My sandwich here was really good, much better than normal, the sandwich artists seemed to take extra care and attention when making my gluten-free tuna, ham and cheese sub, which came to the average price of £4.89. Unlike some stores, it was actually hot (strangely it doesn't always come out hot when toasted) and it was a really good sub.
I always find Subway drinks machines have much less choice than in the fridges and that was the case here, sadly they only offered me a drink on tap for completing the survey, some other stores offer a bottled drink which I prefer.
I didn't like the extended barriers in place however, I don't really see why they're needed especially with the sandwich artist already behind the screen, it made it hard to actually see the fillings which I like to do before ordering.
