You seem to find Subway in every mall food court, big or small, so having a location at The Orient, in The Trafford Centre, is no surprise. It is located on the lower level, next to Spudulike by James Martin. The Orient has many tables, so unless you're visiting on an extremely busy Saturday, you won't struggle to find a table to sit down and eat.
The sandwich artists were friendly and assured quick and efficient service, ensuring gloves were changed when handling gluten-free bread.
I ordered my usual, gluten-free tuna sub with cheese, extra mayo and a selection of salad, the food was up to the usual Subway standard.
Pricing did seem much higher than usual, I understand pricing is set by the individual franchise but they're obviously profiting from being the only Subway in The Trafford Centre, or even nearby for that matter, I paid £5.39 for my gluten-free tuna sub, which would usually cost between £4.49 and £5.19 at other Subway restaurants in and around Manchester.
PRO TIP: Save your Subcard rewards for this location, as it costs a little more, which means you get more value for your points, and ordering ahead via the Subway app is also possible here.
A nice Subway location, but they do need to re-consider their pricing. 4* read more
