Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. The pharmacy drive through is slow af most of the time. Inside and out they require your birth date, address, and signature to pick up your medicine. One of these should be sufficient. The deli is slow and doesn't stay stocked half the time with popcorn chicken and sides. The prepared foods in the refrigerated case are hit or miss plus a lot of the items are not secured on both sides. It's gotten to where I don't trust anything from there. God how I wish there was another grocery store to choose from that's not so far out of my way especially when driving to work.
