I've been going to this restaurant since the day they opened. At first, everything was great, but…read morerecently I've had multiple bad experiences. On two separate occasions, they forgot parts of my order and refused to fix it. Now, they won't take my order at all--simply because I asked for what I was supposed to get: extra napkins, silverware, and the sauces that come with the food. They regularly forget key items--salsas, sauces, even meat on things like taco salads. I've received orders missing chips, salsa, red and green sauces--all things that are supposed to be included. It feels like they think I'm trying to scam them by asking for what I've already paid for. And when I speak up, they act like I'm the problem. I've been a loyal customer, ordering from them almost weekly for over two years. But today, the manager told me they won't take my order anymore because I said something the last time they messed up. So, if you're okay with average food made by people who clearly don't care about your time or money, go ahead--but expect your order to be wrong more often than not. Most restaurants try to make it right when they mess up. But the two male managers here--the older guy and the younger one--refuse to take responsibility. Instead, they blame the customer. The last time, I politely went back to get what they forgot (again), but they wouldn't even answer the phone, so I had to drive back. And when I got irritated--understandably--they got mad at me. We've had to return almost 75% of the time because something was missing. Those are real numbers, not exaggerations. I'm usually calm and polite about it, but the one time I express frustration, I'm treated like the issue. It all started when I first asked for the sauces that are supposed to come with the food. From that moment, the older male manager had a problem with me. He even said he didn't like that I always asked for silverware and extra napkins--maybe because I often eat at the park nearby. Instead of simply apologizing and fixing the mistake, he said, "I make your food all the time, and you always say something's missing." Yes--because the taco salads have come with just lettuce and no meat, the cheese sauce has been brown, and we've constantly had to come back for missing chips, salsa, and sauces. I don't understand how that isn't a red flag for them. We've been understanding and patient most of the time. But rather than improving, they deflect and get defensive. The women who work here are kind and professional. Unfortunately, the two male managers are quick to blame the customer and hide in the back while the women handle their mess. If you're a manager and you have a problem with me after over a year, say something to my face--don't hide behind staff and excuses. Today was the first time I said anything about how often sauces, silverware, and napkins were missing, and the response was completely unprofessional. I was told, "We're not Taco Bell" as if asking for what I paid for was unreasonable. To be clear, I'm not asking for anything extra. I just want what comes with my meal. If the manager believes their orders are "perfect," I invite them to look at the many times I've had to come back to get the order corrected. That's not perfection--it's poor service. Feel free to contact me .

Well, sugar, let me tell you about my little stop at Tractors Classic American Grill in Jackson,…read moreMissouri. I had high hopes for this place! I ordered the cranberry apple salad with grilled chicken, thinking I'd get just a little something light. It was supposed to be a half order, but honey, it sure didn't look like half--either they were being generous or someone missed the memo. The price, however, sure wasn't light--over sixteen dollars for a salad that didn't exactly sparkle. To be fair, the salad itself wasn't bad. The grilled chicken was seasoned nicely, and those little pops of cranberry added a nice sweetness. But the apple slices were tired, bless their heart--soft and browning like they'd been sittin' out at the church potluck a little too long. What really left a sour taste, though, wasn't the fruit--it was the service. When I politely asked the young man at the counter about the price, he snapped, "It's gone up," and just walked away. No "I'm sorry," no smile, not even a nod. That kind of rudeness don't sit well with me. So here's the bottom line: Tractors has potential, and that salad could've been a winner with fresh ingredients and a little Southern hospitality. But no matter how good the food is, if the service leaves you feeling unwelcome, it's hard to come back.
