Typing this made me want another sandwich. 10/10 *Price* - Not too bad. It's usually $25 for me and my girlfriend to eat (Always a large sandwich/ drink) - Depends greatly upon which you get, and the combo/meal/etc. 8.5/10 *Notes* - Staff has always been friendly and on task. - All of the buildings I have been in have been squeaky clean, with a nice firehouse aesthetic (who would have guessed, lol). I ordered food for all of our employees today and I screwed the order up. I pointed out what was wrong with it and they fixed it at no charge (it was my fault not theirs!. Very nice people very accommodating and very apologetic for the mistake that I made. I will keep coming back to this place every time not just for the food, but especially the people! Firehouse Subs is the best, but this store needs more attention to detail. The Steak and cheese needed more meat, but adding too many cold veggies without grilling them made the whole sandwich cold & overwhelmed the taste of the steak. SINGLE TO LEFT TO DRIVE IN 2 RUNS!! Great service, fast and friendly staff. My buddy and I dropped by here for lunch on the way back from St. Louis and has a great meal. He talked me into getting the Italian as I usually get the engineer (partly because I'm an engineer). The Italian was FABULOUS! It had killer flavored meat and spices form the dressing and was very filling. The guy behind the counter who fixed our sandwiches actually brought them out to us (a nice change from some in the Memphis area). I will definitely keep this place in mind for the next trip through here. read more

I want to say great things about this Firehouse Subs but...I have eaten here about 4 times in the last couple of years when we are in town for medical appts. The first two times went great the sandwiches were delicious. I always get 2 large sandwiches. The second two times I have had issues with the Turkey, Bacon Ranch I order. I like the TBR with mayonnaise instead of ranch. I cannot stand ranch on a sandwich so I ask them to leave it off and put mayonnaise on it instead. Well the last two times I have eaten here they used ranch. One time it was super heavy on the ranch. The last time I was ordering it as a build your own with all the TBR has on it and the person taking my order noticed and said I should just order the TBR and leave the ranch off. I explained that I did that last time and it was covered in ranch. He said well I will be making your sandwich and I will not put ranch on it. Great right?? Well not really. He got sidetracked and it still had ranch on it. So this is twice that I can't eat a large sandwich and they are not cheap! I am afraid to even try again. read more

They shout at you when you walk through the door.."WELCOME TO FIREHOUSE SUBS". Clean interior, engaged staff, if you want a hot sub, this is a good place. Many choices of sauces that you can add after your order is complete. Not really sure why? My Beef Brisket sandwich with "Sweet Baby Ray's" BBG sauce about covers what I need. At the recommendation of a friend, I just went here for the first time a few days ago. It was a very positive experience. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Even though it was pretty full when I was there, it was quiet enough that I could converse easily (a definite plus--I hate loud restaurants). The staff were very friendly & helpful, and the service was pretty quick. Prices were reasonable, as were portion sizes. I had the Hook & Ladder Lite and my boyfriend had the Meatball Sub. Firehouse is wonderful.. I love their food.. it's close to the sandwiches I had growing up living near a Greek deli. I can't see why you would go anywhere else.. if you have a chance to eat here, give them a try. The steamed meat and cheese makes the bread soft and delicious. read more
