Prices are kinda steep however, everyone has been friendly. Recently, they changed how they deliver items ordered from kiosk and seems to be getting smoother. The sip club is nice but expensive. We got the deal at $3/mth but it will soon expire. For the most part, if you stay in to eat, it's clean and picked up if everyone (including customers!) does their part. Yuck. Stopped here for what I thought would be a typical Panera meal. The teriyaki bowl resembled what I imagine a depression soup kitchen served. A bowl of warm, gray slop. Supposedly it had chicken in it but the substance was really not identifiable to me. You can see the substance in the bowl, except for that one little pile that I spit out. I would suggest eating anywhere in this town but this restaurant, that would include the nastiest gas station you can find. read more

I attempted to fly through the drive-thru sometime between 2pm-3pm on a Monday. There was only one car ahead of me but apparently there was some issue with them because I was there nearly 15 minutes. I was on a long road trip and you know it's about 2ish hours from here to St. Louis so I was getting really antsy. Eventually I got my bowl of soup and my baguette and was back on my way. Living in St. Louis, I'm a frequent guest at Panera, or as my local friends say, "It's St. Louis Bread Company!" We stopped here on the way back from a road trip because I was craving a shake. This restaurant was located along a popular strip right off of Highway 55 and the choices for fast food restaurants are numerous. I didn't want a mundane chocolate shake, but rather, something sweet. I knew Panera had smoothies, but had never had one. I ordered a Mango Smoothie, after some debate and let the young manager who served me make the choice for me between that and the strawberry. I hadn't realized that they use Greek yogurt, and though I love the tang of it, it was overwhelmingly tart. I knew in a sip or two that it wasn't what I was looking for. A young lady explained that they use two ice cream sized scoops of yogurt for their concoction, along with fruit purée and ice. Although the yogurt makes it super thick, it just wasn't the flavor I was expecting or craving. I opted for the Strawberry Banana, figuring the banana would help make it sweeter. The aforementioned young lady suggested they use one scoop of yogurt instead of two. It was perfect! Exactly what I wanted. As I was walking out the door, the manager who originally helped me and asked how I liked the mango. I explained my dislike of the tang and he said that since they have switched to the Greek yogurt, he has gotten similar feedback. Though I don't plan to be in this area again anytime soon, when I do visit a Panera, now I know how to ask for just the taste I'm seeking. The place was super clean; they were getting ready to close. @PaneraBread Not sure that I can leave a full review... We had a party of 3 looking for a quick breakfast before getting on the road. Came to an empty resturant at 9:30 in the morning. We started our order with a bagel and were told that they didn't have cream cheese. Not a specific flavor but all cream cheese. Not sure how a resturant serving breakfast can run out of a staple like cream cheese. We walked out. Our visit was on one of the first sunny Sundays of the year and apparently there were several events in the area. To add to the discouragement, the 'order taker' simply said 'we are out of cream cheese'. No appology, just a rude 'were out'. I've been to many other Panera's in the past and enjoy going to them as they have good food and are consistant. This review is not for all Panera Bread resturants but this specific location. This is the worst Bread Co. Location on the planet! They cant figure out how to place an order or make it correctly. The "manager" Todd will just threaten to call the police if you should dare to suggest he could do a better job of managing a restaurant. He'll just make up something...say you're cussing at him or whatever. This is my least favorite Panera of all that I visited. I ordered 3 kids Mac and Cheese with sweet tea (apparently the kids meal doesn't come with a drink). I ordered the strawberry poppyseed salad with the Pesto Sacchettini. I was so disappointed in my food. The Pesto Sacchettini was cheesy with basil pesto mixed in. Filling, but not great. The Strawberry Poppyseed salad commercial had been taunting me on my Pandora while I'm running (I live in Hawaii the land of no Panera). So my first lunch Panera while visiting home (Missouri) was to order this. I was so disappointed. I ordered it with chicken on top and the chicken was still half frozen. Disgusting!!!! The blueberries, pineapple, and mandarin oranges were even a bit hard. Maybe sitting to far back pre-made in the freezer? I was so sad. Bonus to this Panera is there is a drive thru! Stopped by Panera today to pick up lunch to take to my wife at work. This seemed to be a very popular restaurant, as there were only 2 parking spots available. After waiting 15 minutes in line I placed my order and paid. They asked my name and gave me a pager, which was confusing, I mean " are they going to call my name or light up my pager?" Waited over 30 minutes at the pick-up counter for them to call out my name, only to tell me they were out of the item my wife wanted; Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. The prep cook apologized, and told me this happens every day after Christmas, which left me thinking, "OK, if this happened before, why has the failure of the Manager let it happen again and again." Furthermore, why was I allowed to place and pay for my order if they were out of the item. FURTHERMORE, I was asked if I would like to replace this item with another sandwich, without mention of a discount or add-on. SPOILER ALERT!!! If you mess up, you should make up for it somehow, and not make me wait even longer for something I didn't want. After wasting almost an hour of my life, that I will never get back, and spending over $30, I was able to bring my wife a cold lunch she didn't want. We could have had a nice sit-down meal with food we actually wanted for that price. I will never be back to another Panera as long as I live, and I will tell every one of my family and colleagues to do the same. read more

I was in town for an interview and decided to grab lunch at Panera. I used the rapid pick-up option but decided to dine in at a table. Managers were going around asking customers if they needed anything. Several employees cleaning up tables quickly and making sure the place was clean. Everyone was very friendly. I looked back and realized that I have not reviewed this location in quite some time... and it is certainly time for an updated review!! Where do I begin?! The service here has gone way down in the past several months. The food, when it is cooked right, is still fairly good. I do like the broccoli cheddar soup. Last night that's what I had and it was pretty good. My baguette however was a bit overdone and tasted as such. My sandwich, got the pick two, was sort of thrown together and dropped on the plate. As I was finished with my food I went to the rest room to wash my hands... wow! It smelled like wet dog in there. I immediately felt as though there might be a homeless man living in the rest room when they close down for the night. And then there is the rest of the dining area. It's always dirty and trash is scattered about. The staff are not overly friendly either. I wouldn't recommend this location at this time. read more

I am just amazed at how rude the staff is at this location. I have only been there twice and each time I truly felt like the people working there did not care what so ever about me or my business. Today while going through the drive thru we ordered 2 dozen bagels and 4 tubs of spread totaling over $26. When we paid for the food, we not only did not receive a warm welcome but she didn't even say anything other than the total. Then when we paid, not even a thank you. We visit cape often and visit panera at least once a week for breakfast. Lunch is to high, I think. I have a steak and egg bagel always and it is awesome. Wife had a ham and swiss souffle. In my opinion the food is over priced for the amount you get. I got the pick two and I believe it was about $11. For two pick two's with tax and waters to drink it was almost $24. This is on the pricey side for "fast food." Tomato soup is my favorite really good flavor. They claim to have "menu transparency" but menu board doesn't list what comes on sandwiches? I shouldn't have to look online to find out what's on my sandwich if they claim to be menu transparent? My boyfriend is allergic to egg and ordered a sandwich with mayo without realizing it (Our mistake should have asked first.. but wouldn't be an issue if the menu was actually transparent). I very nicely asked if they wouldn't mind making a new one and was about to ask if they would swap the sandwich for another kind. Before I even finished my sentence one of the workers interrupted me and said no. I continued to finish my sentence and he was like "Oh I thought you were about to ask for something else. We can do that." So they did make him a new sandwich which was very nice! But I don't appreciate being interrupted mid sentence. read more

Coffee is great! Food is good. On a rare occasion there will be a pleasant employee. Today was not one of those occasions. The person who took our order and our money was BLATANTLY HOSTILE.
