I've been meaning to try this place for a while when I'm back in town and finally got the opportunity to. I really enjoyed the laid-back atmosphere here and the music playing in the background. I enjoyed the buffalo chicken wrap quite a bit but the tots could have been a little warmer. I tried a couple different types of honey flavored wings and they were decent. The food was average to less than average. Pork Tenderloin was a little undercooked & too much pepper, good curly fries as a side. Big portion! Seemed to be the token frozen, mass produced tenderloin they added pepper as seasoning. Chicken Bacon Parmesan Flatbread was good. The garlic-parm sauce had nice flavor but was concentrated in a 4' circle of the 10' pizza. I normally eat out once a week with my husband and never go out to lunch, I'm tight like that. Today though I bought lunch here because I was CRAVING their buffalo chicken wrap. It is SO good. I was taken out to lunch on Monday and brought here, and I'm so glad we stopped in. The interior is typical sports bar but very clean and spacious. Nice staff, that I interacted with. Today was my third visit to Wings, Etc. in Jackson, Missouri. On my prior two visits, I had a burger and a "Homewrecker" gigantic chili-cheese hotdog. Both were good, and I would order them again. Today, I finally ordered wings. Just to have a benchmark, I ordered standard "Buffalo" style, neither "hot" nor "mild," the same kind you might get in other places. Sadly, while the bone-in wings were nicely sized, they hadn't been brined before frying, so the base meat was bland. Then, the sauce was inadequately applied so that it was not clinging to my wings, and was - instead - a puddle of separated and overly-greasy sauce in the bottom of my serving basket. I like their location, and I like to eat local. The service and hospitality are very good to above average. So I'll definitely be back. But when "Wings" is your name, mastering the workaday Buffalo Wing should be artfully executed. Here, they were not. So I'll be skittish about ordering them again. I'll probably get a burger, a very good part of their "Etc.," instead. read more

My response after paying $228.00 for 300 wings that were not ready for my 6pm party in which 200 mild had no sauce. Caroline, I apologize that your wings were not ready when you arrived. We did have 300 ppl wings ready for you before 5:00 as we believe you originally requested. But around 5:30 we had to throw them away because they were no longer servable. When someone arrived at 5:45 we did the best that we could and even pushed other tickets back in order to get your wings out to you the fastest that we possibly could. So we know you at least had fresh wings.  As far as the mild sauce, it is quite buttery and melts off the wings very quickly. This is the reason we usually try and have the guest let us put it on the side. This place has a nice and friendly atmosphere, the staff seems great! The name is Wings Etc which sums it up well, the basically have a little bit of everything! Overall, I'm not impressed with their burgers or their wings. I believe they're burgers are supposed to be fresh never frozen but it's clear they're pre pattied and frozen and grease filled. My burger bun was soaked to the point I didn't have a bottom bun and the burger was still leaking. We have also tried their wings. I would say the flavor of their wings is there but the technique isn't. Again with the grease, my wing plate ends up soaks in grease and watered down sauce (especially the buffalo sauces). By the time you get to the last of your wings they're quite soggy. Maybe the sauce needs to be thicker? Drain the grease from the wings? Not sure but needs improvement. I will say their appetizers are spot on! No complaints there. read more

My husband and I are die hard wings etc. people. We eat here often. And never have had a disappointing dinner! But the last 2 times I've ate here ( take out. Both times) the fries were soggy both times. And portion was kinda small. We got 2 orders of fries and it seemed like there was only enough for one person. It was so disappointing! Stopped in while visiting someone. The place was really nice and the staff was friendly and provided great service. The wings in the other had were pretty bad. They advertise "award winning jumbo wings", so I expected big wings. Not so much. They were actually a little on the small side. The were hot and cooked well but the sauce was brutal. It was like sweet baby Rays poured over the wings. The whole wing wasn't even coated. There were bare spots on the bottom. The sauce was pretty thick and too sweet. Every week we order carryout from them, but when I found out that we were being charged 1.59 for an extra contaiiner of cocktail sauce I decided then that I was done with that place.
