This was the cleanest Subway I have ever visited. The sandwich was prepared neatly. Excellent customer service.

The Yellow Deli - Reuben on a Kaiser roll with pickle and chips

As I'm looking at the menu I'm intrigued with the variety of foods they have. I opted for the Rueben. I don't like rye bread so I asked to put it on a Kaiser roll instead. I am so glad I picked that. It was probably the best Reuben sandwich I've had as long as I can remember. It came out hot, and I mean hot!!! Cheese all melty and it was delicious!!! The owners Yaakov and Dvekah very friendly, conversational, and inviting. I want able to stay and eat very long because I had a precious appointment but I am very happy I went in. Gonna be going back soon and bringing my wife with me this time.

Boy, are we glad we did. At first glance, the menu seemed pretty simple with limited options, but sometimes less is more and that was definitely the case here. We started with the banana milk, and it was phenomenal. You could taste the fresh banana in every sip, perfectly blended and not overly sweet. My wife ordered the strawberry milkshake and it was just as impressive; creamy, refreshing, and full of real strawberry flavor. For food, we shared the turkey sandwich, which was out of this world. The flavors were balanced beautifully with fresh veggies and just the right amount of sauce. To top it off, we ordered the waffles with fresh fruit, which were absolute perfection. The waffles came off the grill hot and crisp, paired with vibrant, fresh fruit, and drizzling rich maple syrup onto them was the highlight of the meal. The place itself is small and cozy, with a cabin-style charm that makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy simple but incredibly well-made food, and appreciate the little details that set it apart. Can't forget the staff as they made the experience incredible as well with the quick service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit when I'm on a road trip up north. This is definitely a hidden gem worth going out of your way for.

3.5 Nice, cute…read morespot--great for breakfast and selling a variety of items in addition to good food, such as sardines, gochujang mayo, and even staff-made ceramics. Food-wise, we got the Spicy Greens + Eggs and the Boo Boo Breakfast Biscuit. Sorry, I didn't take a photo of the Spicy Greens + Eggs and only remembered to snap a pic of the Boo Boo after I had already deconstructed it a bit. The food was good, but the biscuit stood out the most since it tasted fresh and homemade. Even though the place had a nice, chill vibe, I couldn't give it a higher rating because the service could've used some work. You walk up to the counter and see the menu written on the walls, but the breakfast items didn't have any descriptions. When we asked what was in one item, the worker looked at us and said everything was written in the handheld menu cards in front of us. So we picked up the menus--only to notice that nothing matched. When I asked about another item, he looked annoyed and said it should be written there. I pointed out that these looked like the lunch menu, and that's when his attitude changed. He wasn't necessarily rude, but he definitely wasn't as welcoming or hospitable as he could've been--especially at 8:30 in the morning.

My family felt a bagel would make a great mid-morning breakfast/early lunch option, so we gave Hudson Bagels a try. Each of us was quite pleased with our experience! The fella that greeted us upon entering was nice and helpful in guiding our selections. The bagels were fresh and as good as any NYC bagel I have ever eaten. My family and I couldn't have been happier with our visit. The only downside was the limited amount of indoor seating available, but that's not a complaint--rather, just something to know if you're planning of stopping in for a bagel. If the weather is cold, the outdoor seating isn't likely an option. I highly recommend Hudson Bagels! If I ever make it back to Hudson, I'll visit this shop again! :-)

He talked me into a double (they are small) loaded. I have to say it was perhaps the best burger I've ever paid for. In fact I think it rivals my grilled burgers. This is a place I would drive an hour to have a burger lunch with a friend. OUTSTANDING burger. I never got a chance to try their bagels. Not sure when I go back if I would at all be interested in a bagel knowing they have that burger on the menu. Highly recommend this place.

I ended up leaving angry and literally cried.... Their online ordering has a Reuben with an option for $2 extra meat & a note box so I cld have written there asking for the extra portion on the side. EASY. Yet, I went in person to see what the specials were hoping for a great lunch, because Im here for medical procedures at the hospital and had fasted since the day before. Id never been to The Elm Street Market before, but it was close to the hospital, & love Vermont markets for all the years I have lived here. But THIS place :: T E R R I B L E mistake! The employee at the counter was as fake & uncaring as it gets, & shld definitely not be the customer guy. He would not just let the added side be $2 , but wanted to weigh it out & charge me for a deli style $6 sliced side in a package as an addition to the $14 sandwich. ($20 Reuben?!) I said I didn't need or expect a package of sliced cold meat, that I was just adding the side portion to share with my pups. For Lunch. He just becomes patronizing, dense, & fully lacking capacity or willingness to help and says he "can't bc it just doesn't work that way" unless I get it on the sandwich. I cld order it online but not with him at register. And for some reason he cant figure out a $2 portion of meat. Surreal Incompetence. The next level of downhill not-so-fun is seeing the tiny soup. A cup of soup for $8. A latte "special" that I cld not even taste the smoked maple flavor and was only 3/4 full. It's actually shocking- what happened to actually CARING about just helping ppl have a good experience if you are working in the restaurant business as a small local independent market? Hey Elm Street Market Fella, you cld do the simplest things like not try ripping ppl off & being kind! His patronizing attitude & lack of capacity really took it over the top- how am I supposed to enjoy this $36 ordeal? Supposedly he is refunding the meat, bc I explained I didn't order a package of meat. He took it out of bag & literally said "take your sandwich & drink & go". I was upset~ I said this is truly unacceptable ~ try some Kindness & Authenticity! And left. The other young lady who was working that day & witnessed this whole debacle seemed to feel bad making 'Im So Sorry' faces. She at least offered me a dollop of maple syrup & noted the drink was not filled~ but also was being oppressed by his attitude. I cld tell he was being an overbearing tyrant. Wtf - this is NOT Vermont as it should be DUDE. All it took was putting a few slices on the side for $2 & filling up a drink. Ridiculous.

It is located on a back street with not much activity, and I was able to find parking quickly, which is key when you are on a work break. As soon as I walked in, the smells and sights of an authentic Italian deli were exactly what you hope for. There is a menu with plenty to choose from and a pastry case that I already know I will be coming back to try next time. I went with the Blue Ribbon panini, and in about ten minutes I had a hefty sandwich wrapped and ready to go. When I sat down to eat and picked it up, it did not disappoint. Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. The next time I am working nearby, I know exactly where I am going, and I will definitely be trying the cannoli and the black and white cookies. 5 out of 5 stars.
