Normally, my week gets off to a rocky start--especially on the Monday after a holiday--but today, on this Taco Tuesday, I turned it into a Terrific Tuesday. I decided to get some work done on the computer and then went to get my bike fixed. Mission accomplished: it's fixed, and I even fixed it myself! After that, it was time to go feed my hunger. I normally try to wait until noon to get my grub on, so I decided to head to the Bagel Boutique, grab a coffee, and see what these bagels were all about. Of course, just like anyone with a brain would do, I did my research first to see if it was a good place. Some PennLive articles popped up with awesome reviews, so I headed out. Being a New Yorker straight out of Manhattan, I have to say: these bagels were poop. They just tasted like the Thomas' bagels you can get from any grocery store. There was nothing special about them besides the creative toppings. I would never go out of my way to get a bagel from this place again. I wish I would've just ordered them on UberEats so I didn't have to waste gas money and time driving all the way from Harrisburg to Mechanicsburg. Honestly, I think the decor was better than the food itself. They should call it the "Boooo Boutique," because that's exactly what it is. Thumbs down. One star, and that's it. -Branden-Lee AKA B L E E

The bread was good and the veggies were fresh, but the sandwich was quite unevenly balanced. It felt like I was eating a salad on a roll with a few slices of meat hiding underneath. Not terrible, but definitely needed more meat/cheese and less veggie overload. Also, online it says it comes with pepperoni but mine didn't have any. There was salami, ham & cheese. A let down as i love an italian sub with pepperoni. The price was not bad for a full sub however! I do want to try this place again.

This place deserves more than five stars they deserve ten stars plus some more. They have excellent customer service. The guy at the register went through the menu with me and my friend and gave really great recommendations. The Nashville hot chicken was flavorful, crispy, and had just the right amount of heat. The fries underneath were the perfect combination with the chicken and made the dish even more satisfying. The Malik Burger was also packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh, hot, and filling. The bread was a falafel and it was DELICIOUS. I wish I ordered two more before I left. I really enjoyed the bold flavors and generous portions. This is definitely a spot I would recommend if you're looking for delicious comfort food with a flavorful twist. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu! I left extremely HAPPY. The first time I visited, the staff was so incredibly friendly and genuinely excited to share their favorite things on the menu with me. I'm so glad they talked me into trying the Nashville-spiced fries, because they did NOT miss. Perfectly seasoned and smothered in their famous white sauce. I'm also not usually a red velvet cake person, but when my coworker ordered a slice, I immediately fell in love. It was soft, moist, and layered with a luscious cream cheese icing. Absolutely incredible. And I practically cried when I realized I was so busy chatting with the staff tonight that I completely forgot my creamy, delicious mango lassi on the table when I left. No worries, though--I'll definitely be back for another one!
