Service was prompt and not at all overly bothersome, so we got plenty of breathing room to enjoy our meal without constant interruptions. We were there between the typical weekday lunch and dinner peak times, and yet a steady stream of patrons stopping in to pick up their orders seemed to reinforce the notion that this place is worth returning to! We'll definitely be back to try their ice cream next time!

I can confirm that this place is amazing. I ate there every other day while I was in town. I ate their sandwich's, burgers, and I had to get a different milkshake each time I was there. You should always be in the lookout for their weekly specials which are always good from my experience. Some standouts for me were the breakfast burger, bbq sandwich, and tres leches milkshake (which they only serve once a year). If you pull up and wait in your car. They will come out and take your order and bring it to you once it's done which I thought was pretty cool and efficient as they can get busy and inside seating can become scarce. Servers are always attentive and professional. I went enough that they actually remembered me. Really gives off the small town vibes. Overall a great experience and I would recommend anyone traveling through Greencastle or the surrounding area to stop and give this place a try.

Not dried up like some other places. Service was very friendly and cordial. Ambience is classics NY Italian pizzeria. I will be back! update... I've returned several times for their lunch special. I wanted to add that the 2 pizza slices include up to two toppings. Also I ordered their lunch sub which comes with a drink and fries for under $10... the steak and cheese which I got with onions, mushrooms and green peppers was off-the-chart delicious! The sub rolls are not the gummy out of the bag sub rolls you see at other takeout places. Theirs had a nice chew and held up well to the hot filling. The fries are standard coated fries... not my favorites, but they gave me a generous portion, so I guess I shouldn't complain... all things considered this is a much nice place to get your lunch than the hamburger drive thru's any day!

I am sure I will not eat there anymore as there is a better shop just a little further down the road. You are who you hire!!

We were seated pretty quickly, and first round of drink orders taken. First sign this isn't a top of the line place: drinks came in disposable plastic cups. Our server was friendly, despite being a bit overwhelmed by all the orders. Got fried pickle appetizer. Not bad at all, hot and with a nice crunch. Came with a very tasty dipping sauce. My side salad was very simple but fresh, and I got a balsamic vinagrette dressing which was good. Several of us ordered chicken wings, and they came out hot and nicely crispy. We tried a variety of the sauces and toppings - all were good EXCEPT garlic parmesan: nasty stuff. Tasted like feet. Chicken pot pie was more like a thick chicken soup with a pastry on top. That said, it was very good and the pastry was wonderful. Just not a classic pot pie at all. Several got the cheesesteak, which was average. Bread was kind of dry, but it was okay. Burgers were a hit, as was the Salmon. They have some very tasty desserts, although I suspect they are sourced at Costco or something like that. I base this on similarity to those stores' offerings and the too-perfect uniformity of slices. Not to say they weren't good though. Everyone thought they were. I'd go back if I was in the area and hungry, but it's nothing special. Not great, not bad. Kinda what you'd expect along the road in Greencastle

Entrance isn't immediately obvious the dining room is on the left side of the building from the street. The sportbar is in the right side. Whatever... I ate in the dining room. It was a nice quiet space where your can enjoy a quiet conversation. I liked that. Service was friendly and at least initially was attentive. We got drinks and menus than she disappeared! For 20 minutes! Ugh. The good news was that the food came out quickly once the offset went in. I ordered the tavern burger without bread. It was tasty with nice crisp edges without ending up dry and well done inside. I really liked the fries which came out hot and stayed crisp without all that nasty coating you find in other places. In all I was satisfied with my visit. Good, not outstanding. I will visit again. I guess that's an endorsement, right?
