Stopped at the Subway in Green River, Utah today and had such a great experience I felt like it deserved a shoutout. Kari and Shirley were working and they were both fantastic. The sandwiches were made perfectly, but what stood out even more was their attitude and customer service. They were upbeat, welcoming, and clearly took pride in what they were doing. Kari was especially attentive to cleanliness. I watched her wash her hands multiple times while preparing orders, which I really appreciated. It's always reassuring to see people take food safety seriously. Both Kari and Shirley were friendly, efficient, and just genuinely kind. It's easy to overlook great service at a quick stop like this, but they made the experience memorable. Worst customer service by far at subway. August 16, 2026 around 10pm there was no one to be found, I waited for about 10minutes until two workers showed up. They where hanging out by the cashier on the other side. When they finally decided to help I was received with nothing but attitude and disrespect. The service was horrible and the ambience was very uncomfortable when they decided to help. Definitely would not go back to that place. read more

This is located inside the Loves gas station. I stopped here to grab some quick dinner, and the staff was very friendly to take the order. The place had a lot of customers, and I ordered two veggie subs for takeout, and they made exactly how I wanted. There are restrooms here and other shopping items inside the love gas station store. Overall, it was a great place to get a quick dinner. Food was delivered on time and freshly prepared. read more

Average subway experience. We went around 9am on a Tuesday and they were not busy. I ordered the turkey hoagie with spinach and salt and pepper and it was decent, especially for subway. The employees, Barb and Jay (Barb works for the truck stop), were very nice and asked that we include them in the review. Very great service from both of them. read more

I had a good experience here. There was a friendly staff member on duty who greeted me when I came in. They were very quick to make my sandwich and I got exactly what I expected regarding the food. There were a limited amount of tables at this small location in a gas station and they were mostly occupied, but I didn't mind taking a short walk and eating outdoors. read more

It's a subway. Bread that isn't actually bread turns out to be quite the diarrhetic so choose your timing carefully.

Visited Arches and Canyonlands back in June. Hotels in Moab were way too expensive, so naturally had a room in Green River, and as with many of these reviews, got into town late. Subway was the only place open other than the riverfront restaurant , for which we were not dressed appropriately. The service was great. We were helped by each employee, but Elaine is the name we remembered. We thanked them both for being open so late. The area itself was clean even though this is a truck stop, and there were several people eating as well, probably in the same boat as we were. The food? Well it is Subway, but it was a welcomed sandwich, chips, and drink. Wound up driving back to Arches 4 months later, and HAD to stop at this Subway, even though it was earlier in the afternoon. Elaine was there, and we mentioned that we had stopped by in June, and that we were so grateful for her good service and conversation. She smiled and told her coworker and supervisor that we remembered her! Sometimes a small compliment can go a long way. read more

Our sandwiches were prepared exactly as requested and the bread was soft. The line was king but it moved fairly quickly. The only area keeping them from a 5-star review is that I ordered the extra-meat turkey sandwich and it seemed to be a bit lite. read more

We. Are. Starving. Couldn't find anything else in town as we are on our way from Arches toward Bryce and it's 11pm. The Yelp info said "closed" but this bad boy is open 24/7. Actually, meh is more like my experience. The front end sandwich assemblers were disinterested in working with the patrons (a steady flow) though the guy at the end was friendly. My order was correct. Subway is never a first choice and the sesame chicken wrap reminded me why. Fast food meats leave a lot to be desired. The root beer was too sweet and flat. Stopped in for a quick sandwich. Had the worst service I've ever received. Our server "Elaine" acted like she hated her job and the world had pooped in her breakfast cereal. Pointed and grunted, next, when asked what the bread choices were she'd grunt n point to the sign, then slammed the meat in the sandwich like she was a vegetarian with a grudge to prove. The folks working here are fantastic!! Subway food is always good but these folks go the extra mile to ensure that the sandwich is just right. One worker could have worked on the order, the other worker could have taken our order. But nope, we got nothing. Best subway I've ever been to. Maybe I was just hungry but their spicy Italian was the bomb! Perfect in every way as was their service.

Pretty disappointing. I personally work at a subway back in my home town. My. Family and I are traveling to Moab and wanting to stop for lunch. We had waited in line for 20 minutes for a sandwich. It seemed that the staff was way understaffed. They we're working really slowly and were out of most drinks and options. What really baffled me was that the manager (or what seemed to be the manager) was standing and just staring at the line. My manager always jumped into help the other staff members. If you are in a rush, definitely don't come to this location. read more

Super slow, and pretty dirty. I'm a subway lover and this one is among the worst I've been to.

Surprisingly deceptive... We pulled into this gas station that had a subway in it on our way to arches national park. My mom wasn't too keen on the idea but we were super hungry and we're past due for a restroom stop. This place blew us away. For a subway found literally in the middle of a desert, the vegetables were super fresh! I was expecting wilted and browned lettuce, old stale bread and maybe yellowed tomatoes. I couldn't have been more wrong! I guess this location is hit by many having the same thought process as us. This clearly results in high turnover of produce. The bread was super fresh and didn't have a hint of dryness. They piled the veggies high without me even having to ask for extras on a meatless sub. Everything was perfect! The only gripe I had was when I looked at the prices of fountain drinks just bought from the attached gas station, they were cheaper than going through subway. They don't even have a separator and you fill up from the same fountain. Next time pass on the combo and get your drink and (larger) bag of chips from the gas station. read more

Making our way East, we've been on the road for 11 hours. Because we're not familiar with the area, we drove through Salinas without stopping for food. Once we got to our destination for the night in Green River, we realized there is nothing open passed 9:00pm except for Subway and Arby's (which isn't the healthiest place to eat). It was 12:00am, but we were excited to find some food. As we walked up to the counter the woman working subway started pulling food bins saying they're still open but she has to clean the bar. After waiting over 30 minutes, we ask how much longer it's going to take and she responds with "however long it takes me" and doesn't give us any hint to how many minutes. If she couldn't give us a time, she could have at least shown some sympathy instead of being rude and moving at a slow pace. It is now 1:00am and we are still waiting for her to take our order. I wish she could have seen starving customers and put the few bins she took out back to serve us and allow us to be on our way before taking apart the whole bar. 1:15am and one of us finally gets food, they didn't have what the other wanted (egg & cheese sandwich). We both lost our appetites. Sorry for the rant but something here needs to change. read more

Was traveling across country last month and was getting into Green River after a long day on the road 090213...I had helped a fellow motorcyclist the last 30 miles into town because he had lost his headlights. I got to the Subway at 8:58 pm and knowing they close at 9pm ran in...The guy behind the counter was cleaning up and said they were closed! Qualifier, I'm not a demanding person and not Mr. Those People, who expects everyone to service me. That being said, half the bins had been cleaned out already and even after explaining that I had been delayed because of helping the other traveler, the guy looked blankly at me and said sorry...we're closed. Subway is a national chain and the fact that they were closed before the stated hours, will make me think twice before I stop at one again. Customer service matters!! read more
