I hate to give a bad review because the staff are very nice. But we ordered two sandwiches and the bread was so stale that that they were inedible. It broke off in chunks when you tried to eat it. I ended up ripping pieces of bread off and eating the inside of the sandwich. Serious quality control issues with this location. read more

The young women behind the counter (guessing late teens to early 20's with fake eyelashes) making the sandwiches was so slow and unfriendly. She was So put off by actually having to work. Rude when she did speak. Never once smiled. Never have I had such rude service. The bread was fresh but the sandwich did not taste fresh and was not good. Also this female worker has not idea about infection control. Placed the slice meat right on the counter instead Of on fresh paper when making the sandwiches. What a pleasant little oasis of a gas stop! We stopped here to get Blimpie's subs, which were a welcome change from burgers and other fast food. The hostess of the place couldn't have been nicer, the sandwiches were delicious, and the place inside is much more spacious than the little store front would lead you to you believe. I live in Green River and this was sad. Just sad. I wish the old owners would come back, or that the new owners would take a lesson from them. There was a teenager well under 18 making my sandwich. Had no clue what he was doing. Looking everywhere for everything at EVERY STEP. When he pulled out the meat he slammed it onto a dirty counter... then proceeded to ask us if we wanted double meat. When it came time to put dressings on, he didn't shake the bottle before hand so all we got was the oil which rose to the top because it had all settled. I couldn't believe it. It literally looked like his parents left the shop to him to try to handle it. I'm so, so regretful I had to bring my partner in here and had to bear the 40 minute wait for 2 sandwiches. There was no one in line. The place was empty. It was an absolute waste of $35. Sandwiches tasted disgusting, which was expected. We threw them away. My second trip back I was ignored for 20 minutes while they waited on the locals. I ended up leaving in disgust. Won't be back again .

Looks a little shady from the outside being in a gas station/grocery store however we were sick of nuggets and cheeseburgers and wanted a sandwich and let me tell you we were thoroughly impressed! We ordered a large Blimpies best to split and they let us each customize our own halves. The veggies were fresh, the employees were friendly and clean (I don't know what these other reviews are talking about) we would definitely stop here again traveling I70 to Moab. There were 4 people in line, a few the employees knew so obviously the locals eat here too. It's a nice change from fast food burgers on a road trip. And the gas station has the cheapest gas in town if you need to fill up. We ate before we got a picture but 5 stars! Also while your in Green River be sure to google Crystal Geyser and take the old dirt road out to see an awesome little Geyser by the river! read more

Went to Blimpies for a sandwich and the black haired lady behind the counter was very rude. She did not want to be there. She made our sandwiches and left the young girl (maybe 11) to cash is out. She had to rush out to smoke her cigarette. Sandwiches tasted fine but definitely would not go back. This place should rethink the staffing. read more

We were so exhausted after traveling desolate 70-E through Utah and stopped here to get out of the car and get something to eat. We were disappointed that the place is inside a convenience store. We didn't find the person working the convenience store register or the two teen employees at Blimpie particularly friendly. We were the only ones getting sandwiches and I wondered about the freshness of the food and whether we could trust the hygeine of these workers who emerged from the back room when we appeared. You don't get the feeling that they do a lot of business at this sandwich counter. Well, we found that the sandwiches did taste fine and we didn't get sick, so okay there. The worst. I don't care if the Green River skanks behind the counter are making minimum wage and feel like their lives suck..there should be at least a basic standard for service. Myself and a buddy ate here while traveling through Utah. We've stopped at this gas station before, and had good experiences. This review focuses on the Blimpe restaurant located inside the gas station. Firstly, the customer service was not super. The Blimpie sandwich counter looks abandoned, but it's actually operational (this should have been a heeded red flag). Only a few hours after we ate at this place, my friend got horribly sick and proceeded to vomit throughout the entire night at our campsite. Aside from the inconvenience regarding his discomfort and loss of fluids, I was unable to get any sleep because he was repeatedly vomiting so violently (this has never happened to him). He vomited so much, that he actually figured out that vomiting in a bush was better than vomiting on the ground because it did not splatter on his feet as much. We did not order the same sandwich; I was fine. We had not eaten anything else all day besides a granola bar or two. We surmise that the meat sitting behind the seemingly abandoned Blimpie counter was probably left to rot a few hours/days too long. Fellow travelers - you have been advised. read more

It's a Blimpie. Inside a gas station grocery store. In a small town. With all of that in mind, our visit here was definitely 5 stars! The meat was cut fresh, the kid working the counter was attentive, cheerful, and willing to take on the challenge of a gluten-free request from one of our party. Everything tasted great and was made up fast. We enjoyed our meal in a section of tables inside the grocery store and were on our way in no time. A perfect lunch stop! read more
