If you have not stopped by Woo Hoo you are missing out!…read more The Location - You pull up and question your decision. The building looks simple. It looks like a small mom and pop spot in an older space. Then you walk in and see they are building something strong. The Service was quick, staff was Friendly Helpful and attentive. No issues. Now for the Food. I was impressed. Good Mediterranean food in Louisville is rare. My wife and I stopped in for lunch and the food delivered. She ordered a chicken gyro. Her fries came out fresh and seasoned. Her sandwich was the best gyro we have had in Louisville. I ordered the Sparta bowl lunch portion. Fresh, flavorful, and balanced. Nothing negative to say. Overall. If you have not been here you should make time to visit. Nobody is perfect so here is my minor nitpick. I ordered a Sparta bowl and did not get a fork. I walked back up and grabbed one. If that is the worst problem they have, they are doing something right. I look forward to going back.

Is it the delicious fresh meats, cheese and vegetables? Well it's probably all of that along with some of the sauces. So glad you've come to stay. This location is really in an odd place but that doesn't matter and since they are new I'll give them a pass on the service. They had a ton of staff back there, seems like they were bumping into each other and well pretty inefficient and "freaky slow". The sandwich was great though and that's all that matters.

This has never been an issue in the past and made us very happy because this allowed us a place to order our food from as well. To our shock this past time we went in and said they were not allowed to toast the bread by itself anymore because this is what the management has said. Well to the management you have just lost us as customers and if you don't support this community I am sure they will stop supporting your store as well. The individuals who were working in the store were extremely nice so that is why I gave one star.

What is the big deal about the wings? They taste worse than store bought, flavor, texture, everything. We were advised to specify extra crispy, and they are still shockingly soggy. The sauces and rubs we've tried too are not creative, not tasty, and on top of a soggy wing it's not good. I tried the beef on weck last time I was there. This was alright, I appreciated the horseradish and the tenderness of the beef. I got it with a side Caesar salad, and that was just bagged flavorless BS. When we are in the market for wings, there aren't too too many options. We like to try to support local places over blatant chains, but I don't know if I can justify coming back.
