My recent visit to this particular Subway location was, in a word, appalling. What began as a simple quest for a simple sandwich swiftly devolved into an unforgettable exercise in revulsion and disbelief. As the worker was cutting my bread I saw something scurry around in the deli meat. I said to myself "have my eyes deceived me?" And to my surprise, no they have not. Roaches. The size of pink pearl erasers. The ambiance was less "fast-casual dining" and more "post apocalyptic exhibit."I was disgusted to say the very least. When the worker turned to slide my sandwich into the crisper I myself scurried off. Before I even exited the establishment I said 3 hail Mary's and 2 our fathers. I even went as far as taking the rosary off my rear view mirror and putting it around my own neck. 1 star. Because even though I wasn't able to enjoy my sandwich, the roaches sure did. In conclusion, unless you derive culinary pleasure from the company of resilient six-legged creatures, I would strongly advise seeking nourishment elsewhere. I ordered a $10 tuna sandwich through Uber Eats and it was delivered quickly but the bread was hard and stale. When I called the store, I was told the bread was made in the morning and next time I come in they will give me a free sandwich. I asked what I was supposed to do about lunch today and if they could deliver a new sandwich and they refused and didn't offer any other options. Mirna and Anmol are quite the team. I live about 5 hours north in the Adirondacks and I have been to three different Subways there and never get what I want. Every single time I have come to this specific Subway, I get consistency and excellent customer service. I now ALWAYS make it a must stop every time I visit Long Island. Horrible experience. First nobody was at front greeting costumers; there was only one employee by himself ON HIS PHONE. He was in the walking freezer getting stuff ( understandable) but for 5 minutes of me standing in the front without being notice I had to say hello like 3 times. After being notice asks me what I want; I start telling him my order and he walks away to go check the chips section and tells me 1 minute; goes to the back again come back to the front puts his gloves on and puts the paper to start my order and just stays there not even acknowledging me. After 2 minutes, I get impatient and finally said " please just take my order I need to go"; looks at me and points to his phone and to basically say I am on the phone and 1 minute after hangs up. Never again did I spend 10-15 minutes to just get my order taken. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE NEVER AGAIN. read more

I stopped in for a Tuna foot long on 10/31/22. We live 18 miles away but we were in Islip so I stopped. I added chips and was charged $10.62. When I got home I discovered that there was NO TUNA on the sub. I tried calling the website phone number but no one answered 4 calls made that afternoon. It turns out that I had a reason to be in Islip on 11/01/22. I went back to Subway and explained what happened. The manager was entirely unsympathetic. I asked about the person who served me before and she just shrugged, smiled and said she did not remember me. I was offered a new sandwich with a discount. I ordered the same thing with the chips. The manager then wanted $12.00 for the same order. The complete lack of customer service is astounding. Avoid this store. read more

The woman behind the counter was horribly rude. Did not listen to my order as she stayed on her phone the entire time. Rushed me with my order and kept asking you're done right. Located by Dr. Desai's office. I've been in here a few times. Today, I see management unprofessionally yelling at "Mark" while waiting for sandwich to toast in front of many customers. Seems like they failed an inspection and she's giving him the business about green peppers. I'm beginning to heave a bit since I just noticed I got some green peppers on my sandwich... (Maybe it's good that they're by Dr Desai's office?) Whatever the manager is, Arabic/Indian, she shouldn't talk because she's always on her iPad or yapping on her cell while "Mark" works. Been to this subway a few times and service is horrendous every time. The woman behind the counter (no name tag) proceeded to rush me to choose my toppings even though there was no one else in the store, which would still be unacceptable even if there was. Keep in mind I took no more than 3 seconds to choose. On top of the terrible service. The food quality is garbage as well. They skimp on meat and every other topping so you end up eating mostly bread for your meal. Dont go here unless you like bad service and wasting money. read more

Rude woman behind counter. Completed making my sandwich and as I am about to pay another customer walks in. She leaves register and prepares the next customers sandwich to save herself from having to change gloves. I think it was rude to have me wait the additional time. Stopped by this location for a quick bite before a game at Hecksher Park. There was ample parking for the store. Once entering the space looked clean and I was greeted as I walked in the door. My orders were done quickly and someone else came in as the gentleman was making my sandwiches, and he was served within a minute or two after entering, with only one guy working. Sandwiches were as delicious as you expect a subway sandwich to be. One plus, it was 6pm and there were full options for bread- which isn't the case at every subway I've been to. I stopped here on a Wednesday afternoon at lunchtime and there was only one other customer eating there. An older gentleman made my order for a half veggie sub. I asked for Swiss cheese (paper thin, he put 2 HALF slices on my sandwich), tomato (2 very thin slices), cucumber (again 2 see thru thin slices), and lettuce which he loaded on. I just moved here from Buffalo, NY where when you order at subway they LOAD up on the vegetables and cheese for your sub. This was the skimpiest sub I ever had! When I took my order to a table, most of the tables were dirty. I actually had to slide a piece of lettuce that was on the tabletop off in order to sit and eat there. Behind me was a young boy that looked to be the family's son who was not only coughing without covering his mouth, but also had a small video running that was loud and distracting.
