Great place for subpar, slow customer service. Unless you like getting "I'm here" when you ask them how they are doing and like listening to them complain to a coworker about what other employees "don't do around here" and like feeling like they'd rather be doing anything in the world other than wait on you. The food is fine. The service is sorry! They didn't acknowledge us when we came in and totally ignored us. The restaurant seemed clean but my wife had to clean the table and chairs. There was also a bunch of flies. I still would not recommend this Subway. read more

If you got an hour and don't expect good service this is the place!, been out of steak for two weeks, the bread stays dry cause apparently the door doesn't close on the bread cabinet, good place to spend your entire lunch hour standing waiting on service. read more

High winds means you apparently lock the door with a sign saying they will unlock it when they see you. Only to have workers and other customers stare at you at the door and not unlock it. Service matters. It it's that bad then shut down for the day. read more

Very RUDE! Asked for more spinach on my sandwich and was told I couldn't as it would too hard for the worker to close my sandwich!!! WHAT?? I'm the one paying for it. Also, ask the girl to change her gloves as she was just touching the computer screen then went to touch my sandwich. Lastly seemed super annoyed I asked for tomatoes as there weren't any in the bin, so heaven forbid she had to go get them from the back! Please help these kids learn customer service and cleanliness skills. If hungry in the area skip this place and go to the sandwich shop across the highway hopefully they have better customer service over there at Which Wich!!!! read more

I was a little apprehensive to stop based on the reviews. But when traveling I try to prepare ahead. We stopped around 11:15am, no line! The vegetables were fresh and agree with previous reviewer, a little chinchy with putting them on the sandwich. However, very generous with the meat (not the case at most Subways). I asked permission to fill my own travel cup with water and was told I could! YEA! We also used bathroom facilities. The whole store is clean. read more

Stopped here for lunch on our way to Colorado. They were out of all breads but 2, condiments, etc - which I understand is a delivery thing and not at the fault of employees. But I gave a low star review for the following: failure to let known that they were out of certain things - because there was a lot. One of the workers went to the back to do something that was asked of them, and returned wearing the same gloves pushing a cart, then proceeded to run the veggie line without changing gloves. Cashier and window worker was bouncing between running the veggie line and taking transactions in the same pair of gloves. I believe that is a cross contamination and sanitary no no. read more

Read good reviews, so thought we would take a chance. Extremely clean store, nice couple behind the counter. Cooler was equipped with a cover to keep food fresh. Gloves were changed between each order without having to be asked. This is a huge deal, as we have allergies. read more

Subway is usually a safe bet while traveling. If nothing else, it's got fresh ingredients and you can watch your food being made, so as to forestall any disgusting food preparation shenanigans. Plus, I'm not above hassling a so-called 'sandwich artist' for additional toppings, especially when they try to pull the old four-olives-on-a-footlong gag. Even still, this particular Subway proved itself to be below average for the franchise. The place was rather packed when I went, with a long line of people, presumably out-of-towners like myself, waiting to get food at one of the few places open in Dalhart on a Sunday. This not only augmented the wait, and my frustration, but also resulted in their being out of a number of toppings and, apparently feeling the need to rush, their making some pretty sloppy subs. Sloppy I don't mind so much, but they were also a bit stingy on the veggies. I didn't feel like my meal was worth the money or the time I spent in line. I think next time I'll hold out for something different. read more
