It turned into an interesting experience. Not to be repeated ever again. The restaurant looked clean inside so I was optimistic. Then it happened. I restaurant staff and I crossed paths. I said good morning and I only received an unpleasant look as she rushed by me. Okay, she is having a bad day. I ordered my food in the kiosk. Then headed to the restroom. In the restroom was another person, at the time, I couldn't see the individual. As I was washing my hands the lady came out. It was a restaurant team member, she thought I was taking too long since she made an odd grunt and walked out. I hope she washed her hands in a different sink. Although no one else was in the restaurant lobby, it took awhile for my food to come out. During this time, no one acknowledged our presence. When the food finally came out, the coffee was cold, muffin was as cold and muffin didn't look fresh. I didn't eat a single bite or drink any of the coffee. Didn't take any pictures since I was driving. Very disappointing. On our way back through, we stopped at Yes Way. That was a great experience!

There appeared to be team of three staff 1 - kitchen, 1- drive thru, and 1- front counter. While it is a small town, I didn't think it was too busy. However, we did wait a long time at the counter. The drive thru staff acknowledged us and had to tell the front counter staff to take our order. Once our order was taken, the food came out quickly. The food presentation was promising. We ordered two Double Meat Belt Buster Combos one with fries and other with onion rings. Unfortunately, the meat patties were overly salted! Due to the amount of salt, we couldn't finish our burgers. The cost of the food with drinks was $27.77. As always if you find yourself in Clifton, Texas stop by Dairy Queen to give it a try for yourself.

I use the indoor counter ordering. I'm not a fan of drive through because fast food staff are usually in such a hurry to keep the line moving that mistakes are more prevalent. I prefer going inside and dining in. I believe the staff knows you will be there in case they mess up your order so they take more care but that's just my two cents. I usually stop in during late mornings and order breakfast. The dining room area is always clean including the tables. I also see staff bussing tables and keeping them clean while I am eating.

Yes Way was clean and well stocked, and the restroom was clean. The staff members were extremely friendly and professional. They welcomed their guests and seemed overall happy.
