The bagels, muffins, breads and wraps used here are homemade as are the sauces too. When possible, the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. The prices here are fair. There are a few tables inside the shop and a few tables outside on the wooden patio. I ordered the Hot Reel Deal Beef ($12 plus tax/$13.08) which was made to order in the open kitchen behind the counter. The sandwich I ordered was very good, which had thin sliced grilled roast beef, caramelized onions, melted cheddar, bacon, and spiced mustard on soft homemade focaccia bread, a really nice touch to make a great tasting sandwich.

The hostess was amazing -- friendly, warm, and genuinely accommodating. I ordered the curry chicken salad wrap, which was absolutely delicious -- flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The pesto macaroni salad on the side was just as impressive. Before leaving, I picked up a ginger scone to go. Later that evening in my Burlington hotel, I made a cup of tea and enjoyed that scone -- and it was fantastic. Moist, flavorful, and the perfect end to a travel day. Moondog Café isn't just good food -- it's the kind of place that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. I would absolutely stop again.
