Oh my gosh, all I could do, when it came out, was laugh since it was SOOOO much food on one plate. They take a meatloaf sandwich and then throw a gallon of mash potatoes and gravy on top and this thing was just a sight to behold. It was almost too pretty to eat. It was so good too. Beat meatloaf sandwich I have EVER had! There's no outdoor seating as it's basically a corrugated barn on the outside so no dogs allowed. We stopped in on a road trip for some pie and it didn't disappoint! I'm a fan of raisins and chess pie so you know I had to try their raisin pie with a mountain of meringue. It was exactly what you'd expect and I recommend splitting a slice between 2-3 people since it's so decadent. The rhubarb fluff pie was an unexpected treat. We got the last slice and it was the best part of a midwestern church basement "salad". The frosting was incredibly dense, almost butter, so that made it texturally hard to eat. I highly recommend stopping in for food or even just some pie to go.

Been a loyal customer of this establishment for probably a decade. They have gone through an…read moreownership change and unfortunately a service change. I usually do pick-up, this last year we have had numerous instances of not getting what we ordered, missing condiments, cold food, over-cooked food and the staff doesn't seem to understand their own menu. I tried talking to the kitchen manager Virginia. She became super defensive and actually blamed us for not being clear on our orders. I pointed out that if their are questions, they should clarify as we travel 15 miles to get to this place. She told me that we need to order off the menu. When I pointed out we did, she told me that was the wrong menu....how am I to know that? There are not dates and times on the food in the warmer and this has gotten us a few times. We have also noticed open toed shoes in the kitchen as well as a baby in a car seat, sometimes walking. An employee was carrying cooking oil and fell recently while using a poorly maintained walkway to dispose of the oil. She got frustrated with our complaints about the lack of quality and told us not to order there anymore. Wow! Needless to say, we will be taking her advice, If I were the owner of this place, I'd look at making a few changes before its too late.
