And a huge triple chocolate hot mess caramel fudge brownie. Food you would make for yourself, but you're on vacation! Staff is so welcoming & efficient. Don't be intimidated by the long line - enjoy chatting with those around you. A definite return visit is called for.

All was made to order and the service was good. Definitely a local place. LOTS of great options in the menu and was difficult to decide. I had the chance to taste each of the four sandwiches and all were good - but only one of them was amazing. The other three were still very good and unique... but not as over the top as the The Dill (I think it was). I would easily recommend this place and plan to go back the next time I'm in town. In addition, this isn't a sit down place - you will need to leave with your drop What I could tell. There were some tables in the alley... but the lake is a close walk for a good view while eating. Finding this place was a pleasant surprise. Support local!

Immediately upon entering, our group of five was greeted and informed about their specials. I tried the half turkey and Swiss and soup of the day which was chicken and rice. Today was extremely cold so they weren't likely expecting a lot of foot traffic but they still delivered on the experience. It does take a little bit for the food but keep in mind it was one person doing it all. The food was delicious and everything was fresh. It is somewhat on the pricier side but the service and Ingredients make up for this. I would return if I pass this area again.

I get there and walk in, smells of musk. Sorry but dusting is a requirement if you're going to keep all those vintage knick knacks. Very small and full floor, it was hard to walk through just because everything was so close to each other. I walked out as soon as I saw the menu, $18 bucks for JUST the sandwich? No thank you, imma go to subway and get the whole combo for cheaper. Ridiculous pricing and sounds like for mediocre food

They carried a good range from local cheese maker WW Homestead and also had a nice variety of Wisconsin cheeses along with some imports. The cider selection really came as a wonderful surprise, though. I used to cider being given a short shrift compared to beer. Instead, they had a great variety from local cideries, and I even bought a bottle from Belgium! My husband found a few new beers, too. If and when I come here again, I'd love to look through more of the store, even as I check on the cheese and cider anew. This is definitely my kind of place.

It took two staff members 20 minutes to make two sandwiches "made to order". We stood there and had no idea why it was taking forever. They did toast the bread. As pictured, I was glad they had GF bread but it made my sandwich much smaller. I got lettuce, red peppers, "avocado" the green paste you see on the lid, pepperjack and mayo. We bought a large bad of chips and a tea $2.29 and our total for two "no extras" sandwiches, the tea and one bag of chips was $24 and change. Still can't believe how puny the meal was. Only two veggies before you're charged .99 for extras. I expected it would be substantial and filling. Otherwise the store was clean, and has lot of options for foods and natural products.
