Their version is the perfect thickness, and deep fried to the magical moment when it's still tender inside and has a great crisp bite every time. And it was $7.95 with a side of homemade hash browns that were also cooked 'just right'. An incredible meal that I plan to make a regular stop on my eating out rotation. This is a family restaurant that has been owned by two sisters for the last 15 years. And they both are terrific cooks, as is the other regular cook there. It's a true value priced small town place and the servings are generous. It's about a dozen miles north of Waverly.
