One nice thing about the store is they carry items from nearby bakery and a nearby tea room so there are some unique offerings. The prices are about average, maybe a tad higher than other stores, but it will worth the convenience of not having to drive back to Cedar Falls. My only criticism is whenever I have used the Chester Chicken deli portion of the store, it always seems like the employees think it is a chore to wait on me. Case in point, I was there with my dad to pick up some lunch for us, my brother and nephew today. We get there and make up our minds for what we want and ring the bell for service. There are two employees in the back that see us, but make us wait another 5 to 10 minutes before coming up to wait on us. Why couldn't one of the employees come up and take our order? It was nowhere near busy. Please Brothers, make sure your employees know that when the deli counter is not busy and there are more than 1 person in the deli that no customer should ever be kept waiting. Otherwise, keep of the good work.

I'm not used to shopping fareway because the other one in Cedar Falls isn't close to where I live or by anywhere I go. But I've become a frequent shopper since this location opened. I'm able to find pretty much everything I need at this store. Yes they may not have every flavor available of items that Hy-Vee might carry but the prices are generally more affordable and you don't have to walk a football field to shop.
