When you walk into the store there is a sign of items and prices and they compare them to some of the other markets in the area which is always good to see. Another plus is that they are open till Midnight and it's close to home. A year later and I'm obsessed with this super market. It's very clean and the customer service is always amazing. My son loves coming here to watch the lobsters. The seafood department always comes out with a Wegmans hat to give him and let him touch a lobster. The deli department is always nice. I love the meats from the meat section and the butcher. I love the organic everything they have it's always fresh and reasonable. The Bakery department is my other favorite part of the store. I never tried any of their cooked food. Except the sushi station. No complaints there. I tried many of their store bands and so far so good, except the cheese. It doesn't melt for some reason. I never had any issues at any of the department. From ordering Groceries from the app to looking for coupons, the app is great at navigating it all. There are a few brands that Wegmans does not sell so sometimes I still have to branch out to another market. But for our main supermarket Wegmans is it.

I called around 1:30 PM to place an order for three sandwiches, a macaroni salad, and mayonnaise on the side. They close at 3:00 PM, so there was plenty of time to prepare the order. The person who answered the phone was not particularly friendly, which was disappointing from the start. I arrived before closing and, while sitting in my car, checked the order and realized the mayonnaise was missing. I went back inside to ask for it. When I got home--less than five minutes away--I realized the macaroni salad was also missing. I called the deli and asked about it. When I asked if I had been charged for it, I was told, "If it wasn't on the receipt, we didn't charge you." That completely missed the point. I had ordered the macaroni salad and needed it. At no point was I offered the option to come back and pick it up or given any effort to make the situation right. Then, while looking over the receipt, I noticed that one of the sandwiches also did not have the cheese I had specifically ordered. At that point, I had to go to my local grocery store and buy sliced cheese to fix the sandwich myself. So, in one order, I was missing the mayonnaise, missing the macaroni salad, and missing an ingredient I had specifically ordered on one of the sandwiches. More frustrating than the mistakes was the lack of customer service when I called to address them. I understand that mistakes happen, but how a business handles those mistakes matters. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating from beginning to end. These are new owners, and based on this experience, I won't be going back.

Authentic kosher food is hard to come by in Suffolk County, so having a place like Zans is a gift. We really need restaurants like this. We used to go to Bens in Nassau County and are so happy Zans exists nearby. We loved the experience and appreciate having an authentic kosher deli we can go to. It's clear that some of the people leaving negative reviews simply wish to complain, but it isn't right to do that to a place like Zans. This is literally the only kosher deli in the area, and they offer great food and an important service to the community. The extremely harsh reviews don't reflect the quality or the many experiences I've had there. Zans deserves recognition for the good food they serve and the niche they fill in Suffolk County.

Being avegan bakery/cafe means they don't use any animal products and not only is that wonderful on its own, but it makes it possible for my son to enjoy a fun treat from their shop with zero worry of contamination from his allergens. (YAY!) Ashley is just wonderful. She is always present and always happy to help. She is very passionate and it shows. My son especially loves the margherita brioche pizza but he also enjoys everything he has tried here! I had an amazing oreo sandwich cookie the other day and it was life changing. They have a weekly rotating menu (they are open Friday-Sunday) and I love that you never know what fun treats they are going to be serving on a weekly basis. They post their menu on their instagram and its exciting to go check it out every Friday. They also have an amazing coffee menu so don't miss out on that. My sons first birthday was last weekend so of course I had to order him a cake from peach & pine. This cake was GORGEOUS and the highlight of the party! I highly recommend HFIT if you are looking for a meal prep company. The meals are not high in sodium they are fresh and taste delicious. There's a large variety of things to try which is nice and they all have nutritional value and ingredients on the labels. The only thing I'll mention is that the heating instructions are the same for everything we've gotten so far and 2minutes on a wrap is much different than 2 minutes on a steak bowl. One of the wraps basically turned to a mushy mess. Overall I'm happy with the variety and convenience of getting meals here for a fair price. If they were more than $10 each I'd probably hesitate a bit but for what you're paying I think it's a good value.
