The waitress came to the table and asked if we needed a menu, she brought silverware and asked us what we wanted to drink. It appeared there was one waitress and one cook. We brought our drinks and asked what we wanted to eat and I said I wanted to pancakes with bacon and the I said are you sure are pancakes are really large as she motioned to about the size of a plate. I said yes I want two of them and I could have done without the eye roll at not taking her suggestion. The hubby ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs, hash browns, and sausage. She brought out our meal and asked if we needed more coffee or tea. It was a good breakfast and there was plenty of food to eat. We left there satisfied and I am sure when we are back in the Celina, Tennessee area we will stop in here again.

Hubby was all hot to try their chocolate gravy which was mentioned in the article. The waitress flatly stated it's not served after 10:30 even though the menu noted it was available "until we run out". It was around 12:30 and didn't appear very busy that day. I can understand if she had said they ran out but just cutting him off at the knees with "we don't serve it after 10:30" wasn't very polite. She finally served our drinks and we sat and watched while other diners arriving after us were served. We finally received our ham and cheese and club sandwiches after a 35 minute wait. We won't return as the menu is pretty run of the mill and the sandwiches and fries were standard fare. There are too many diners to want to repeat only fair service and food. They have been several times over the last few months and have falling in love with the place. Let's just start with the location - just wow! A great location for sunsets and dinner. A large open wrap around balcony and a top level roof area, that I hear they have bands play on occasion. The inside is also very nice. With roll up windows that on a warmer day would be fantastic. What I learned later on in the evening was that several (jerk staff - my opinion) called out because it was Halloween evening. Clearly this isn't the workers who showed up, management or the owners fault. Looking at previous reviews, this has happened before.
