We stopped in this diner yesterday morning to have breakfast. We found they were not practicing any social distancing or any other of the precautions taken during the covid-19 crisis. We were not bothered by that but some people may certainly be bothered by it. The waitress came to the table and asked if we needed a menu, she brought silverware and asked us what we wanted to drink. It appeared there was one waitress and one cook. We brought our drinks and asked what we wanted to eat and I said I wanted to pancakes with bacon and the I said are you sure are pancakes are really large as she motioned to about the size of a plate. I said yes I want two of them and I could have done without the eye roll at not taking her suggestion. The hubby ordered biscuits and gravy, eggs, hash browns, and sausage. She brought out our meal and asked if we needed more coffee or tea. It was a good breakfast and there was plenty of food to eat. We left there satisfied and I am sure when we are back in the Celina, Tennessee area we will stop in here again. read more

Just a great country breakfast--salty and tender country ham, perfect over-medium eggs and hash browns, biscuits and sausage gravy. The perfect fuel for a day hiking in nearby Standing Stone State Park. Service was excellent, the coffee did not stop, and the smiles were all around. Bring your appetite and your good cheer. Cute diner with great food and service! This is exactly what I hoped for when driving through the small town of Celina, TN when routed around traffic in I-65. This is a really nice small town that epitomizes life outside the big cities in USA. The diner isn't huge but has enough room for families to grab a bite - you can also call to order ahead and pick up right from the drive up window. Our waitress was a very polite young lady who checked on us periodically to make sure we everything was great - which it was! I had the patty melt after she suggested the burgers are great, along with curly fries, and OH MAN was it delicious!! On Texas toast with grilled onions and plenty of cheese, and the fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly! My wife really enjoyed her Philly cheesesteak too with onions and green peppers on a hoagie bun. But the pancakes for the kids might have been the absolute best!! Hearty and huge, I don't think either of them were able to finish one. The bacon was amazing too, and a nice big plate of it in a single order... I hope to come back through Celina again sometime specifically to stop at Doris' - it's an all American diner and everything was priced well - around $40 for the entire meal before tip. read more

Best place to eat in Celina. I stayed at campground for 10 days and ate breakfast there twice and dinner there twice. Breakfast is really good and reasonable. Had the all-you-can eat catfish on Friday night and it was very tasty. Had the fried shrimp the next night and it was very good. Service was quick. Will go there every time I am in town. read more

So I have been at this place three times now, maybe four, and I have to say they have the BEST pancakes you will ever eat! This place has great service and the breakfast is excellent! Not too much of a fan of the biscuts with chocolate gravy, seems like more of a dessert to me. The waffles are good, but still can't beat the pancakes! We came to the area for a football game. Stopped here foe dinner. It was amazing!!! I had the breaded tenderloin sandwich. It was the best. My husband got the grilled tenderloin dinner plate. I stopped in for some desserts to-go: a piece of coconut cream pie and a piece of Hershey's cake. Wow, both were delicious! Our server was very friendly and helpful in selecting our desserts. While there we browsed through the menu and they seem to have a good selection. I'd like to return for their catfish on a Friday. read more

I have to say this is one of the best places in town to eat especially on Friday night for the all u can eat catfish. It is amazing to say the least an u are guaranteed to leave there full. If not u don't then something is definitely wrong. They have the hand breaded deep fried tenderloin sandwich that is fit for a king. This sandwich is "HUGE" an amazing. Mom and pop and all its glory! My wife and I have a thing for mom and pop diners and cafe's , we like to support of the local community but as well its also rewarding! As we both have been in the food industry as a career our expectations tend to be high,with that being said today my wife and I stopped in for lunch before we went fishing. This is an excellent diner with 'home cooking', and lots of hospitality! Food and service have been great every time I've gone there. It's out of the way for me, as I live in south central Kentucky. But once every few months I splurge on the trip down that way just to enjoy one of their fantastic burgers. Today I got their hamburger cheese melt (which includes a healthy serving of perfectly sauteed mushrooms and grilled onions). Delish! Whenever you are in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend that you give them a try. Oh! And prices are VERY REASONABLE!!!!! Can't beat it! read more
