Life as a Yelp reviewer is not always about fine dining and public service as an "influencer". Yes, you can find me in places like Subway as I continue to opine to the total adulation of my many fans who never tire of winning. And Yes, I'm kidding. I recently had a 2 month period where I was working in Pittsburg/Bay Point during the week and then spending time in Genoa NV over a long weekend as Gayle and I were slowly moving up. Our Bay Area house was on the market, Lunch was usually take out, and this Subway was relatively close and inexpensive. As another reviewer so aptly put it, this is a Subway in the Hood. The food (in my case a toasted tuna salad sandwich with chips) was OK, the service was fine, and it's what you would otherwise expect for a Subway. Extra Credit goes to Subway staff who are trying their best to follow COVID safety practices. read more

Worst service ever!! I ordered three sandwiches last night and all my sandwiches were done wrong. Two weren't toasted, and my sandwich, the outlaw sandwich, was over toasted and it barely had any meat, cheese, veggies, etc. When I called to let them know, the male employee was rude and and I asked for the managers number, didn't know the manager numbers but then remembered all of a sudden and the manager turned out to be rude as well. I walked in to this new Subway on Port Chicago and was happy that it was so cool inside. Ceiling fans were running and circulating cool air, a refreshing break from the outside heat. The sun was just about to set and it was hot out! This location is pretty small but perhaps they don't get a lot of foot traffic. It is close to Willow Pass Rd and not far off the freeway, at the Hwy 4 San Marcos exit. The place was really clean and the guy working the counter greeted me right away. Several tales for dining in and they were all clean - no crumbs or trash on the floor either. The employee told me they only opened three months ago. The girl working (zayra) was super sweet also. Friendly smiles from both of them - a great start to my Subway experience. I love their fresh veggies and they had plenty stocked here. Smaller store size didn't equal smaller selection. Lots of sandwich choices to choose from. If you're a Subway sandwich fan, this little store will make you happy. Come check them out! read more

I live around the corner and if you know bay Point, there isn't much of a selection of things to eat. Besides a burrito, taco Bell or McDonald's so subway is the next best thing to some real food. This subway is actually quite nice, always clean. The staff is friendly and if you get the manager ... He pretty much know what you want. Always a good experience at this subway. read more

The parking is pretty small it's either a hit or miss. There's a pretty big sitting area. The service is very fast and they don't skimp you here on items like other places. I wish I remembered the young guys name but he was super helpful. The bathroom was clean. Price was fair so definitely would return to this subway read more

Clean store, friendly staff. They had adequate seating. They got our semi-big order all correct. It was late in the evening when we went and the food was fresh. No complaints here! The sandwich is excellent but the employee practice for infection control is terrible. Got my sandwich today 5/27/20 at arnd 1pm. I observed her finished making sandwich for the person ahead of me. She was wearing gloves, That's good, but didn't take those gloves off when she took the cash payment, went back and was gona start making mine. I asked to change her and she it's clean. I refused for her to prepare my sandwich with the same gloves. And she finally changed. She wasn't wearing name tag so I put the exact date and estimate time I was at this chain for the manager or whoever is reading from corporate figure out who worked that time. read more

This place sucks. Bad customer service. I told her told her to cut my sandwich in half and she looked at me like I was stupid . She didn't properly wrap the food. Hi yelp , This place is easy to get to and very easy to spot when you drive by. I walked in and it was nice and clean .... The second I walked In, a employee named Bansi greeted me with a warm hello and gave me time to decide what I wanted. He knew how to keep a conversation and make a sandwich at the same time. WOW. He is a great sales man. When I got home .... Looked at the sandwich and it was made perfect... Not too stuffed nor scrony looking. Simple things like this make me want to come back to this place everyday after work. This looked like a clean and hygienic place to eat and very friendly staff. I am always disappointed when I go to this location. I do like subway. Good food, good prices. But this location needs serious work. The sandwiches I have gotten at this location I always have to open the sandwich up and move everything around because it was put together as if a small child made it. Barely any meat, barely any cheese, the toppings are lumped in just one spot so I would only taste 1 thing all in 1 bite. Terrible sandwich making skills. read more
