Traditional fried half chicken that's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Crystal hot isn't much heat and Nashville hot is bearable if you like a little heat. Neither are much worse than a hot buffalo wing. Sides are up to your discretion on what you prefer with fried chicken, but the flaky biscuit was the star of the show. Only downside was that mac and cheese was not available as a side or even a premium side which seems a bit counterintuitive for a place called the Southerner.
