I ordered through drive thru and she apparently said come to the second window to pay. I did not hear that at all. I waited at first window, as there were no signs or anything to pull forward. She finally waved me to come forward and said, "apparently, no one knows what it means to come to second window", very rudely. I am someone who is hard of hearing, so she could of possibly said it, but i also think if your first cash window is closed then you should have a sign up to pull forward and not be so rude to customers who might not hear what you say. I have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. I would have made a big scene but my kids were with me. What was a special treat for my kids that morning put me in such a bad mood. She made a good example to my children on how disgusting and rude ppl can be. read more

My 1st experience with this McDonalds was waiting. Ordered Filet O Fish, They told me to pull ahead. I ended up going inside to see what the problem was and they told me they were having trouble with the fryer and brought me my sandwiches. Second experience, they shorted me a Big Mac. I didn't notice until I got home so I tried to call the 1st number given on the receipt (517-252-8669) and you get a busy signal. Ph #2 (269-512-7277) you get a "not in service" message. The email address is impossible to read. Won't ever go there again. They tell you to have a good day and they couldn't sound more insincere. Oh and the fries were not good and it look like someone had eaten a third of them. read more

The worst McDonald's ever! My pregnant girlfriend and I went through the drive thru for some quick food, after 20 minutes of waiting, they came out to our vehicle with cold fries, crusty burger buns and under cooked beef. We came back to get new food and they said we are half of the food (not true). So we demanded our money back and the manager woman came out with an attitude and threw our old food through our window and refused to give us a refund. I love Allegan but large chain businesses like this that run like shit are what gives Allegan a bad rap. The only reason I go here is because my kids like it. They literally sent us off this evening with half our order, even followed by a "have a nice day". Since my fiance is just a nice guy, he was going to just deal with a $10 loss and cook the kids something else. This INFURIATED me since the kids were the only ones that actually wanted any in the first place. Also, I have literally sat in the drive thru here for 20+ minutes at a time. I hate this McDonald's, I absolutely freaking HATE this place. I just thought of another thing- I ordered a sundae and a Mcdouble recently here as a treat for my youngest kids. When I got up to the second window, I got the sundae and was sent up to the front curb TO WAIT FOR A MCDOUBLE FOR 10 MINUTES. They suck here so bad that they can't make a Mcdouble within the 15 minutes it takes for your order to leave your mouth and you to pull up to the 2nd window. They have to falsify their times because no one here can flip a fuckin burger. You can't make this shit up, seriously. I would recommend literally anywhere else in Allegan to eat than even thinking about this McDonald's as an option. I wish everyone would just not go here for like a week. The place would literally shut down. And the fries always taste like old shit. read more

Last time, never again. Like all the other reviews on here, this places is terrible! I just went through the drive thru and had my absolute last visit to this location. Simple order, 2 McChicken sandwiches no lettuce add pickles, medium fry and a large unsweetened ice tea. I will say the tea was good, that's it. I was the only customer at the time so they weren't busy but they still messed up my sandwiches. They had me pull ahead, where I sat for approximately 15 minutes! When they finally brought my order out, I said something to the lady about waiting so long (thinking I might get a free sandwich coupon or something). Her reply, "we're sorry". The sandwiches were hot and correct but I think the put the fries in the bag when they messed up the sandwiches. Fries were cold and disgusting. Sorry Allegan McDonald's, you will never get my business again! read more

No matter what time of day/night I go to this McDonalds, I always have to wait for my food. I have learned to check my order before I leave because more times than not, they messed my order up. Staff is never friendly. The drive thru is just as bad, if not worse. I have complained to corporate office and they have the manager from there call me. After I politely tell them what my experience was like, they apologize and give me free gift cards. I don't want free gift cards, I want them to fix the issues with staff. PLEASE READ! Normally the food here is good and the service is alright. However, tonight (7-29-17) at around 10:30 pm, my mom and I went through the drive through and ordered the new specialty burgers, 4 apple pies, fries and a root beer. We were next in line to receive our food when a large bag and drink were handed to the car in front of us. We saw through their back window that the costumer in front of us took out the food and then put it back in the bag and handed it back through the window along with the drink and we heard them say "we didn't order this food or a root beer" (which was the drink I had ordered). The car in front of us leaves without being handed anything else and we pull forward. I was shocked when a manager (obese woman with short brown hair with blonde highlights) tries to hand us the same bag and drink that was returned by the car in front of us. My mom says to the manager "Are you really going to give us food that was returned by the customer I front of us?" The manager replies "I don't think this food was given to the car before you". The bag was folded by the costumer before us and the bag we were given was folded exactly the same. My mom tells the manager that she saw the transaction with the car before and we know that it's the same food. We do not accept the food and then my mom asks the manager for a refund and for her managers name and number. The manager then says extremely sarcastically "well I can give you a refund" and turns around and walks away. She then comes back and hands my mom cash, which was under the amount we paid. My mom then asks for her managers name again and the lady responds with a name (I can't remember exactly but I think it was Tony and then the last name started with an M). My mom then asks for his number and the lady responds extremely aggressively "well I don't know his number". My mom then says back "ok I will wait here for it". The manager then responds even more aggressive than before "well you need to pull forward or I am going to call the police." Keep in mind my mother has been assertive during this transaction but not disrespectful. Before my mom has a chance to say anything, the manager turns and walks away, closing the window behind her. We wait for her to come back so we can get the proper amount of money returned to us but she never returned. After people behind us in line begin shouting in frustration, we do move forward and my mom goes inside. I didn't go inside with her, but my mom tells me that when she went inside, she was forced to talk to a different manager and the manager who threatened to call the police refused to speak with her. My mom then asks this new manager for the lady's first name and her managers name and number. She is refused both. Keep in mind that the first manager told my mom her managers full name but it was forgotten when we were threatened to have the police called on us. The new manager then tells my mom that she can call the store in the morning to discuss the matter. So my mom then asks for the proper amount of money to be given to her and again is refused. When she asks why they won't give her a full refund, the new manager says that we kept some of the food and that we are being charged for it. After my mom tells her that we did not even touch the food that was handed to us the new manager finally fully refunds her. The fact that we were threatened to have the police called on us for simply asking for this lady's managers phone number in less than 5 minutes of being at the window (that includes the approximate 2 minutes she took to get the refund money that wasn't even the correct amount) astonishes me. Hopefully something can be done about the way this "manager" acted. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and hopefully something like this never happens again. read more

Not just once, but every single time I go to this McDonald's it is so slow. I just waited in the drive-through line for 25 minutes to get my meal. I stopped at 2 windows to pay and get food and nobody said sorry for the wait, nothing. One day as I was pulling up to the window to pay, the young girl working it was yelling at a male friend of hers across the parking lot. Very very poor business.
