I was actually really surprised how good the coffee was, I was able to drink it black. Our server was very nice and just as any diner, they keep that coffee of yours full. The man who cashed out our meal (I'm assuming he was the manager) was extremely friendly, as were the other patrons of the diner. Parking is spacious. Mugshots is a great local coffee spot with a welcoming atmosphere and a quaint location right by the river. The prices are reasonable, and they have a good variety of breakfast sandwiches and baked goods to go along with your coffee. The staff was friendly and service quick. Respite Cappuccino Court is located in downtown Douglas. Their coffees are made with beans from Ferris Coffee and MadCap Coffee. We ordered a latte flight- Lavender Honey, Vanilla Carmel and Golden Dune. Since our order was to eat in, I expected the lattes to be served in a coffee mug, instead of paper to go cups. The Lavender Honey was my favorite and is one of their signature lattes. It was made with rich, bold espresso with a custom-crafted lavender honey syrup. I had the Lavender Honey Toast . It was very good and the lavender was not overpowering. The toast was French bread, spread with velvety house-made goat cheese mousse infused with lavender, and topped with a drizzle of honey. My husband had the Tourist Wrap Panini. A combination of egg, bacon, avocado with a tomato aioli spread. Food was served in a box. Overall, the food and drinks were very good, presentation could have been improved.
