Opting for the loft suite next to the main Jailhouse, we got settled in after re-reading the easy-to-follow instructions from our hosts. The loft features high ceilings and my wife compared it to staying in a treehouse. The room was immaculate and had several amenities, like a coffee pot and a microwave, so one could enjoy breakfast in-house if that was in your plans. There's also an adorable breakfast nook under a window looking out over the trees. Yellow Springs, Ohio is certainly my kind of quirky and lived up to expectations. From Jailhouse, it's a short walk, say five minutes, down to the heart of the town, and the famed Little Miami trail. This is a perfect location for those hoping to enjoy what the town has to offer. Affordable, convenient, and excellent service from the proprietors. Highly recommended.

Front staff and housekeeping are very polite and easy to interact with. The daily morning breakfast items were much more than expected. There were daily scrambled eggs and some type of sausage patties/breakfast meat, English muffins, bagels. A couple of mornings, biscuits and gravy were available. Daily offerings included cereal and yogurts, along with oatmeal and almost a dozen toppings. There was also fruit, juice, several coffees, and teas. Less that 100 yards away are several places for lunch/dinner. From approximately 5 to 10 PM there was a full bar (wine too) with many drink specials, and happy hour was 5-7PM. See pictures, that's the bed after it was supposed to be made. I believe the hotel management do have all the necessary information to figure out who needs to be retrained on their job duties. Room: spacious, but...the air conditioning was super loud, even after we lowered it to the lowest level, it is still loud. Had to turn it off at times to get some rest . Body wash run out after 1 day staying, and I guess the hotel probably run out of the wall mount bottles so they gave us 2 small travel size bottles . No body lotion, had to ask for it. Amenities: there is a gym and pool on the first floor, small but good enough Location: convenient, next to shopping centers, restaurants and movie theater. Parking was easy. I stayed here for about two weeks (maybe more), and my experience was overall really good. The team that runs liberty worked really well with me throughout the process. I came here to attend a program at AFIT, and I had roommates, which I really liked, in part because they were nice, and in part, because I am super down to expanding my social network. If you are too, then this place is something that you might truly like! Unfortunately, I had to move elsewhere because my boyfriend came to town to visit me and so I asked my roommates if they were cool with him staying with me for a couple of days. But one of my roommates wasn't comfortable having a male in the unit. So, with respect to my housemate's preference, I adjusted and just moved to Country Inns, which was just around the corner. Issues like this happen, and that's separate from the establishment.
