I especially am referencing agent Hui Li. My wife and I were out of town and specifically told our listing agent that we couldn't accommodate any showings for the weekend. Hui Li lied and said they had approval from my agent to view my home. They pressured my teenage son the let them in and made all sorts of demands, such as putting my dogs away. Stupid move Hui Li! My dogs could have KILLED you and your clients. Are you really that stupid??? You are a moron of the highest degree!!! By no means are you or anyone who you represent will ever be allowed in my house, EVER!!!! Do you understand me?!?!?! You broke trust with your dishonest practices. You should lose your real estate license, if you even have one. Prove to us you do! I would advise anyone out there to stay away from this lady. No smart at all and a liar. She's looking out for her bottom line without any regard for the safety of her clients. Don't say I didn't warn you.

We were clear on what we were looking for with a good amount of flexibility, yet we felt like we were just not being taken seriously. It was a Sunday, I wrote an email to Ken and the very next morning I received a call from Ken. The tone was completely different on the phone and I could tell here was a realtor who was wanting to work with and for us. By that afternoon I was sent over a number of listings that were more in line of what we were looking for. I took a liking to one particular home, when my wife came home she picked out the same house. Ken gave us a follow up call later that evening and said he could arrange a viewing that night if we wanted. We found the perfect home, more than we expected. Several other people were bidding on this home. Ken convinced the listing realtor we would be a good bet for the sellers, and the sellers accepted our offer which was a bit lower than some. Apparently, the sellers had another offer at one time which fell through. Since both my wife and I are self-employed financing is much more securitized and we had more hurdles to jump through than in previous homes I had purchased when I was an employee. Ken kept the seller's realtor informed all the way and both us and the sellers were very satisfied. I truly believe that the sellers realtor if not for Ken would have advised the sellers to accept the higher offer. Additionally, I convinced my brother to list his home with Ken, OMG the hurdles Ken jumped through for my brother were amassing. It would take a novel to explain it here. Truly, if you ae looking for a extremely knowledgeable hard working realtor I HIGHLY recommend Ken! You will not be disappointed. Mike and Romy Plato Township, IL (Elgin)

A Masterclass in Incompetence and Poor Communication…read more I am writing this review to detail the profoundly unprofessional and ethically questionable conduct of real estate agent Randy Schulenburg, who represented the seller of a condo I wished to purchase. The sequence of events was as follows: My agent submitted my good-faith offer to Randy Schulenburg. The seller received our offer. Randy Schulenburg informed us that a "second offer" had materialized and instructed us to come back with our "best and final" offer by 5 PM the next day. Within less than two hours of this instruction, the property's status was changed to "Pending" on Realtor.com. Confused, my agent called Randy Schulenburg to inquire what was happening. He provided no explanation for the conflicting information but told her that we could still submit our best and final offer. We did exactly as he said and submitted an improved offer. After submitting, we heard nothing. My agent sent numerous emails asking for any update. After this period of unprofessional silence, Randy Schulenburg finally got back to her simply to state that the seller had accepted "the first offer." The complete lack of transparency is unacceptable. The entire "best and final" exercise, initiated after the property was already pending, appears to have been a complete fiction and performance art masquerading as real estate sales. The greatest indictment comes from my own agent, who stated that in her 30-year career, she had never encountered anything nearly as questionable as this. I cannot recommend Randy Schulenburg under any circumstances. My experience suggests you cannot trust the information he provides or the processes he manages. Dealing with him was a frustrating and shady experience that cost us time and emotional energy. Exercise extreme caution.

Remember when Chicago Top Agent Magazine called Ream Masoud one of the top agents back in 2015 for…read moreher "honesty, integrity, and creativity"? Yeah, apparently that was a long time ago--because my recent experience makes me wonder if they should consider taking that one back. I rented a house from Ream and her company, Dream Realty Services, for two years. Everything was fine until the end, when she told me she didn't want to renew the lease. Fair enough--I appreciated the heads-up. We agreed I'd move out by June 30, 2025. She also told me a new lease would begin on July 1. We agreed on an exact day and time for the move-out inspection and key handover: Sunday, June 29, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. So what did my family and I do? We drove an hour from our new place, spent hours deep-cleaning the house in 90-degree heat--scrubbing the fridge, oven, bathroom, everything. When I messaged Ream that we were ready, she casually replied she wasn't available. "How about tomorrow?" Seriously? We held up our end of the agreement--she just... didn't show. No explanation, no solution. I waited for hours with no guidance on what to do with the keys. So I did the responsible thing: I filmed the whole place (which looked great), left the keys on the kitchen counter, locked up, and left. Later that night, Ream messaged saying she didn't have keys to get in. You'd think a landlord would, you know, have keys to her own property? I even suggested going through an open window--seriously, it was easier than this nonsense. She said she'd "check" if she had keys somewhere. Honestly, you can't make this stuff up. Fast forward ten days--yes, ten--on July 8, she messages to say the dryer isn't drying and the fridge isn't cooling. I told her both were working fine when we left (we literally used the dryer on move-out day), and as for the fridge, I'd reported issues months earlier. She sent someone who basically did nothing, so we just lived with it, knowing we were moving. Now, somehow, it's my fault that the fridge allegedly failed--after we moved out, after new tenants supposedly moved in. Am I going to be blamed for a burnt-out light bulb next month? To make things worse: today is July 29, the 30th day since I moved out, and she has still not returned my security deposit--or even provided an itemized list of deductions as required by Cook County law. That's not just shady, it's illegal. She's in clear violation of the Residential Tenant and Landlord Ordinance (RTLO). Even if you're buying--not renting--why put your money in the hands of someone who doesn't honor basic legal obligations or contracts? It's clear she plans to withhold my deposit over this made-up drama. After two full years of trouble-free tenancy, this is how it ends. I'm more than ready to take every step necessary to recover what I'm owed. "Honesty and integrity"? Not in my experience. I can't recommend Ream Masoud or Dream Realty to anyone who expects fairness, professionalism, or lawful treatment. Dream Realty? More like Nightmare Realty.
