I've been eating here for maybe 20 years or more. The servers are always friendly and helpful. They have a great collection of sodas and dvd for sale. The bread is always fresh. Heard about this spot on instagram and have been here 2 times in the past two months! Definitely would have been more if I lived closer. It is at the end of Livingston road in a great location for students or anyone passing by the area. I would recommend one of these subs after a long day of work because after you eat one you won't be able to move. Seriously though love the older feel to this spot and the selection of old school sodas they have (not just canned pepsi/coke like everyone else). This is a really good sandwich shop it's on the smaller side as far as eat in, that's the only thing that's small about this place.the sandwiches are huge compared to chain shops and while pre sliced, the meat seems to be fresher in some way. I rarely ever give a poor review of a restaurant. However I was very disappointed with the sandwich I received. I custom made a veggie sub and it was extremely bland. I genuinely couldn't believe how tasteless this sandwich was. My soda was pretty mid too but that was because I chose poorly. Also, something to mention, if this kind of thing matters to you. On the inside wall, which you can't see from the outside, there is huge Blue Lives Matter flag hanging. Definitely would not come here again. read more

I am no longer a soda drinker but I couldn't resist the selection they had for my son who would love the choice between root beer and cream soda. Great place that's been in business for over 38 years. Located in a strip mall as part of a gas station, they have cool decor with so many different types of sodas displayed on the walls. They have a counter where you order your sandwich or salad and they make it, you pay for it and there's about 8 tables inside to sit at inside. They have one of the best Cuban sandwiches and have a fun challenge to see if someone can eat a 36 inch Cuban sandwich. I had the Greek salad with delicious dressing, nice and fresh. Service was awesome, efficient and super friendly. Reasonable prices as well. Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 8 pm, closed Sundays. read more

This place is located in a strip mall that kinda looks sketch, not gonna lie. However, isn't that where we find the best places to eat? The shop is quite small, but the options are not. They have a huge selection of sodas to choose from is a cooler to the left as soon as you enter. In the back of the store there are Blu-ray's and DVD's for sale. They have some cool signs posted around the store to read while you're waiting. The owner is super nice and interacts with all his guests! What a treasure to return after so many years and find this incredible establishment ! For 38 years this little location has greeted local customers and travelers, today after 10 years I came to bring my college roommate as we reminisced on time and our life. John the owner was such a delight to meet; his friendly demeanor and warm welcome was truly sweet. The menu has gone through minimum changes there is only two sandwiches that are no longer; the establishment really hasn't changed since the last time I visited. The sandwich was amazing- fresh and scrumptious! As an owner this place knew where to look for other local favorites down to the freshly made bread. I've heard great things about Subs and Such, so I finally went to try it! Small, quaint place. Had a ton of collectible coke bottles! The sodas they had for sale where different and not your usual coke and Pepsi! I thought I had a pic of my sandwich but I guess it didn't take. I ordered the smoked turkey and cheese. I was with my cousins when one of them suggested we try this as he recently tried it based on his brothers recommendation. We all got the veggie sandwich on the cuban bread, and the sandwich was absolutely satisfying. Subs-N-Such has been around for as long as I can remember. If you've been there before you know that one of their claims to fame is an absolutely bonkers selection of soda. I can remember being there well over ten years ago and marveling at the fact that they had Tab soda. It has to be so tough for small businesses like this during a pandemic. I was pleased to see that I was able to get their food via delivery. They still make a solid sub. I'll come back to see what unusual sodas they have when the world is less crazy. read more

Wanted to try someplace other than my typical Jersey Mike's, Publix or Subway stop, so decided on this place. Staff member was very welcoming and answered any questions gracefully. I drove over 8 miles just to try the steak and cheese but soon found out they no longer sell it.(bummer) We opted for a salami and cheese (pressed) and super club(unpressed). The two were tasty but personally the bread was hella thick and dry for my club. So I ended up removing more than half, just so I could taste the actual meat and toppings in the sub. Plus, they do charge $.50 to press which I've never experienced at other places. Decent place, but was not blown away enough to return unless I'm in the area. Still worth a try. read more
