Okay, at first glance you're thinking, "a sandwich place next to a gas station? Classy ," and you might be right but give it a chance. Although the place is small and ostensibly shady, once on the inside you see it's actually rustically welcoming and quaint. It has a secluded feel that draws you in and is actually the opposite of what you believed it to be. With a full menu and beers on tap, this place is where a group can stay for a while and enjoy just relaxing. The food was tasty and quite cheap. We all had some version of a sandwich along with the teezers (their version of a cheesy jalapeño popper). All was delicious. The time we were there (a Thursday night), they held a music bingo night, which was cool but a little too loud to hold a comfortable conversation. Overall, this was an interesting and unexpected good time. It goes to show you that we shouldn't judge a restaurant by the gas station it's located next to . Try it out and enjoy. read more

What a mixed bag. First the best part, the service from the bartender with tattooed arms was outstanding. She was attentive and caring despite having to serve the bar and almost all the tables. The pizza was just okay. Not the best but not the worst. The bad was when I walked in with a coworker, one of the workers was ahead of us and held the door. I said "thank you" but it is very loud in this establishment and as soon as the door opens you are hit the the noise. She didn't hear me. She turned very angrily to me and said "YOU'RE WELCOME". I politely told her I said thank you and thanked her again. She just stared at me and walked away without saying another word. I should have left but I was there with someone else. Do not order online call the store or go in directly because you'll get good service and good food! The website...is a SCAM! You can order a pizza or whatever you like but when you go to your final total if you're not paying attention it's going to charge you way more than it's supposed to they even after you tell it what store you're going to pick it up from it's still reverts you to another store so please be careful just go to the store call ! read more

We were nearby and hungry so we stopped in for lunch. I've been to the Submarine House in Troy many times but this was my first time here. I had a half Turkey and ham sandwich on wheat. It hit the spot just right. I also had a Yuengling beer that tasted great! My son had the same sandwich but added some Teezers to it. So delicious! It's not a big place but it makes that up in service and in the quality of their food. We both really liked it! read more

I went to submarine house tonight and after picking up my food, I was not very happy because apparently I ordered a quarter chicken cheesesteak on toasted wheat bread and fried mushrooms. I got home and I know that sandwich was not chicken. It was steak meat, but I was too hungry to turn around and take it back. read more

Service was really good. Called in order, pickup at window. I ordered a cheese steak with not spicy sauce. It has spicy sauce and was not enjoyable. Also got the fish tacos by friend recommendation. Stopped by for dinner & drinks after work and the place was busy allll night! I got a gyro and it was very good, as were the onion rings. The staff was very attentive to our needs the whole night so it was definitely a nice place to stop by. prices have went up way more than other places in the last month. I ordered a 4 inch cheese steak was not super hungry. I think it was 7.99 and looked more like 3 inches, tasted fine but 3 bites and done. Burgers are good used to be 8.99 last month now 13.99 with no sides. I will have a beer or two there but the food prices are way out of line for quantity and quality in my opinion. service is always good. read more

If you want delivery you may want to have a back up plan. After ONE HOUR FORTY FIVE MINUTES I called to check on my order. I was told that it would be another 30 minutes.
