I've had laser resurfacing here twice. It's been exactly 12 months since my last treatment. And I wanted to give the treatment the time it needed to work until I wrote a review. Unfortunately I am very disappointed in the laser treatment, it made essentially zero difference in my skin. I received a laser treatment 4 years ago here that was amazing, great results and make a big difference. Both times I bought a Groupon. To prepare for my 2nd appointment I took time off work and anticipated that it was going to be the same laser treatment I had previously with a lot of downtime. When I commented after letting them know that this does not seem like the original treatment I got they told me that it indeed was a different laser than before and that my 2nd treatment was a less powerful laser. Considering I paid the same price both times I would assume that I was getting the same treatment. The treatment was not effective and made almost no difference in my skin. I am very disappointed as I was very happy with my original treatment 4 years ago and was expecting the same thing. If there was a 6th star, I would highlight it:) I originally found sublime via Groupon. With Groupon I've had some scary outcomes but I struck out with this one! I've struggled with acne and had the ugly scars to prove it:/, fine lines and pigment discoloration. I knew I couldn't afford the co2 fractional resurfacing procedure (typically $1600-1800!!) but had my hopes on one day getting it done... then, my dreams came true lol! This procedure is so worth it! He did not make any attempt to repair his below standard filler job he gave me. I would never recommend him to anyone. Don't like the office vibe either. I wanted to wait for our services to be done before I gave feedback, but I think my mom and I are in love with Sublime MD and we will continue coming back here for beauty needs!! My mom is really cute. She is one of those Asian ladies who don't like to spend any money on herself. She is so humble and conservation, so I really like to spoil my mom with things that she would never get herself!! Before, my mom would ALWAYS complain about her eyelids. She thought they were so saggy/puffy that they LITERALLY hinder her eyesight. I heard this puffy eyelid issue is a common issue with Asian skin. So one day I took my mom in for a consultation for the CO2 fractional Laser Treatment for Upper Eyelids. Ted was very friendly and he explained the process to us. The machine analyzes her face from frontal view and the side views (left and right). Dr. Dawood came and spoke with us and analyzed her face before we schedule a concrete date for the actual procedure. I can go on forever about the small details but in general there's always a pre-op consultation before most major procedures followed by a post-op consultation so Dr. Dawood can make sure the procedure was successful and you are happy w the results and healing correctly. I must say my mom's eyelids look great!! They are much firmer than before and no longer saggy looking. My spoiled Mommy even had a chemical peel done by Dr. Dawood and it left all of her friends and coworkers envious. I was giving out the Sublime MD business cards like it was candy. Her friends even mentioned how they paid more for services or products at other places, but not the same awesome results. On her post-op visit after the chemical peels there were a couple of dark spots remaining that used to be darker and Dr. Dawood was so nice he just lazered those blemish points off without extra charges because he wanted my Mom to be happy!! He is definitely talented, but we love Dr. Dawood because it is clear he has a good heart too!! I always want to give props to his lovely staff!! Lorinda is one of his nurses. She is always so helpful and compassionate prepping for the procedures. I also really love Colleen. She is so sweet!! One time my mom's work and her insurance was having problems receiving faxes of the medical paperwork and Colleen really helped us send the fax 3-4 times until they finally received it. If I could give zero stars, I would. In all this chaos, I've had an appt scheduled for tomorrow, for a month now. I've heard nothing from Sublime, I have called them twice and left 2 messages to reschedule or cancel and simply to get an update on what their status is. I get it... there are way more important things going on. However, as a business, and having already paid for my services, you would think they would reach out in one form or another to reschedule or inform their clients of what is to come. To add to this... as of today, the number online for their riverside location is now "no longer in service, or disconnected"... their voicemail a few days ago at the SAME number said the riverside location was open Thursdays till 1:30. I call this morning and now I guess the number is no longer in service or disconnected... so that's great Update: 5 mins after posting this, I got a call. After a month of trying to get a hold of them. Regardless, I am appreciative of the call. I rescheduled my appointment. Like a lot of reviews posted before me I also bought a Groupon for the laser hair treatment. It is a clean facility and the receptionist and specialist have always been very nice. Although I am happy with the results so far and the treatments have been fairly painless and quick I am giving them a 3 star rating because I have never waited less then 30 minutes to actually receive my treatments. The first time I was in there I waited 35 minutes in the waiting area and then another 15 in a back room until I was seen to discuss what areas I wanted to have treated. The actual treatment for me (it depends on what areas you have done) only took about 5 minutes so waiting that long for such a quick appointment is not acceptable. I probably will not continue my treatments here because of this. read more

I've been super happy with Dr. Dawood and all his work on me over the years. I've had everything from accutane to clear up my cystic acne. (Which worked like a charm and never came back) a mole laser removed on my cheek which looks perfect (think Of when Sarah Jessica Parker got hers removed) and there is absolutely no scaring, to a large cyst removed and warts removed. Dr. Dawood is careful and precise and does the best job. I'd definitely come back for other treatments by him. Simply the BEST! My wife and I have lived in South Orange County for 25 years and have tried many Dermatologists for varying issues. First my wife: She has spent many years trying to eliminate spider veins. She was referred to various Doctors by her friends but ended up each time with poor results. We finely found Dr Dawood and with two treatments the problem was GONE! My wife couldn't be happier. I researched facial Laser Resurfacing and found it very interesting so after a free detailed consultation with the Doctor we both tried the procedure. Again, what a fantastic and professional job with no cutting. We have had a few treatments and we look a minimum 10 years younger. The treatments over time (9 months) did include Botox, Juvederm and Voluma which added to the aesthetics. I am going back next month to have "cool sculpturing" which will reduce the loose skin on the upper portion of my neck. Painless and no cutting or down time. You can also use this procedure to get rid of those "love handles" and "flabby stomach". After seeing my results my older brother had the same procedure done and was equally impressed. My son had some hair on his back and a mole removed utilizing laser treatment and it was very easy. He was very impressed with the results. The bottom line is Dr. Dawood is the kind of Doctor everyone out there is looking for. He treats his patients like a family member, is well trained and has fair prices. He does not rush things. The office refused to see me if I did not sign the arbitration agreement. The agreement pretty much stated that no matter how badly they screw up, I give up ALL my legal rights. They can inject me with cyanide without any consequences to them. The lady on the front desk was very polite and friendly. I bought the co2 laser Groupon and, too, was A-N-G-R-Y when I called and found out they only did consultations on Wednesdays and wouldn't do your treatment the same day. In fact it is weeks in between. boooo I work an hour away and couldn't believe I'd have to ask for a 1/2 day off to go and then take time off AGAIN to get the treatment. So, I hung up pissed and forgot about it until I lost my job and had all the time in the world! lol I do think that info (especially the no saturday thing) should go in the Groupon info. The Mission office is not fun to park at sometimes, so just know that ahead of time and plan. The office chics are living out OC cliches and are not impressive.
