I am beyond frustrated with the deceptive marketing and unprofessionalism LaserAway. I keep receiving 'enticing' offers via email/text, but every time I book a consultation, the experience is the same: the representative who calls doesn't even mention the promo I signed up for. To make matters worse, the staff has a terrible attitude--talking with that signature 'vocal fry' and sounding completely impatient. When I tried to push for details about the advertised deal, I was abruptly hung up on. This has happened twice so far. If this is how they treat potential clients before they even get through the door, I can't imagine how many eye-rolls I'd get during an actual treatment. UPDATE: I completed 18 sessions of tattoo removal at Laser Away Lake Forest and there is still about 40 percent of the tattoo remaining (see attached photo). After that many sessions I expected much better results, so their laser technology is not good. My most recent experience was even more concerning. I received Botox and it left my forehead visibly uneven (see attached photos). My recommendation is to go elsewhere. read more

They cancelled on me the evening before my appointment. They called me at 7 pm just to tell me they were closed and that I had to call the day of my appointment to reschedule. I had to wait two weeks for this appointment, and I have to wait another two weeks and go to another one of their locations that's farther away for me. So unprofessional! After I posted this review, LaserAway publicly responded, stating that someone would contact me to help resolve my concerns. Shortly afterward, I received a phone call from Monica, who told me that I would be issued a full refund. As part of that process, I was asked to provide a copy of my driver's license, which I promptly did. Since providing the requested identification, I have not received the promised refund, nor have I received any response to my follow-up emails. As of the date of this update, I have not been given an explanation regarding the status of the refund. Based on my experience, the public response did not result in a resolution. I was asked to provide personal identification for the stated purpose of processing a refund, but after doing so, communication stopped. I am simply asking LaserAway to honor what I was told and to provide an update regarding the refund. If the matter is resolved, I will gladly update this review to reflect that outcome. read more

Once they changed their front desk personnel everything changed. The current front desk personnel does not have the customer service skills to provide actual customer service. Be very careful when purchasing package treatments. They'll tell you one thing when purchasing and then they won't provide all the treatments you paid for. The front desk personnel makes too many mistakes and you'll find yourself having to remind personnel about your package deal. I've heard numerous customers complain about how they were not satisfied with the results from the treatments. At this location, I dealt with the most dishonest, unprofessional and most unethical front desk personnel. Save your money because the results are not worth it. Results are not as promised. They promise 80% reduction but realistically you may see a 15-20%. Then they get you into updating packages and they tell you one thing but then they do not track it in their system so you have to argue about the services you paid for. read more

The most irritating of hard ball sales tactics are used when you just want to get information, trying to force you into a $2500 package with the monthly payment of a car. Then they impose all these false sale "you only have an hour to claim this deal" or "let me ask my manager if I can give you this discount." Then they keep calling me after I didn't respond. The staff working here are such incredible, friendly ladies. I forgot the lady's name working at the front desk, but she helped me get a little bit of lotion as my face was quite dry, and I appreciate her effort! . My experience with LaserAway has been way better than I could have expected. Everything from the in person staff, the quick appointments, and the phenomenal phone staff who checks in on your progress has all been amazing. Sophie did my first appointment. It's not perfect nothing ever is so I will not get a five star. However, when I moved out of state for two years you better believe that after trying the locations in Texas in Frisco specifically which was a high-end area that I made sure to schedule in Lake Forest for my procedures. I had hair removal, Botox, and clear and brilliant done in Frisco Texas location I also had to send a few other locations in California outside of Lake Forest and it was below par. Frisco being especially full of hard. Specifically with the clear and brilliant when I did it in Frisco my skin did not get like sandpaper and it did not peel. I I have just come out of a week after doing the clear and brilliant in the Lake Forest office my skin is sandpapery and it is peeling finally. I don't know what the differences between the lasers or how they're doing it but at the Lake Forest office since Haley was working there and manager and I believe now that she's left it is still seemingly a superior location. I actually hate leaving them a positive review because it's going to get so busy. However what I'm hoping for is that some of the other locations will start to catch on and become a better location. Especially if Haley is now working at another location I would definitely follow wherever she is now managing. Simply because I know that she is doing good business and does not play around with my money. I will be starting to try out their Ortega highway location I'm not exactly sure what they call it over there rancho something as it is closer to me now then I will update that location and see if it is as good as Lake Forest. So please continue to do a great job at the Lake Forest location and please start to make the other locations fall in line and be as great of quality as well as care. read more

The receptionist, Yassamin, was lovely and made great conversation (unlike some), very enthusiastic and comforting, especially before a session, whoever hired her, A+ for real effort.
