We later were looking to put in a retaining wall with steps down and received multiple quotes from other vendors. The quote from Masonry Solutions was very competitive and my prior experience with Damon and Carlos ultimately resulted in me going with them for the new wall (go with who you trust). If you are are looking for a clean finished product I'd recommend them. I knocked off a star because I think some of the communications could have been a bit better (scope of work covered and general timing of project), but there finished product speaks for itself.

Scheduling was a little rocky due to the snow and weather, but I didn't mind at all because the work was high quality and I'm exceptionally happy with the final product I got! Would happily hire him again in the future!

We talked to a lot of contractors about building a 3 season room and a deck to replace our existing deck. Chris was not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either. But he was very thoughtful, making sure we truly got what was best for our home. While he is the owner, at heart, you can tell he is a craftsman. He did not simply make a deal and then left the work to his crew. He was here. He and his crew made a real effort to minimize disruptions and were very nice to my wife and kids. We are thrilled with the results. Now is Chris a great communicator? This is the only area for improvement. Chris is great in person, but there were some communication breakdowns. We did expect them to be working at times, where we found out they were waiting on materials. But Chris took full accountability, he doesn't make excuses....and who do you want building an addition for you, an orator or a craftsman. I reached out to Carlos at AMC Contracting because I have seen many positive reviews from neighbors on NextDoor. Big Plus - Carlos regularly gives back to the community! Carlos was quick to respond, answered my questions and provided a quote for the work I needed (replacement of two toilets). He ordered the toilets I had selected, took care of delivery and his guys showed up just when he said they would. After confirming the work order and ensuring they had all the necessary parts, Victor completed the installation. He made sure to turn off the water for the entire condo, just to be sure there were no unexpected water issues, put paper down to protect my floors and went to work. When he was finished, he asked me to test the toilets, confirm that I was satisfied and cleaned up everything before leaving. All work was completed for a reasonable price including haul-away and disposal of the old toilets. Fully satisfied and happy customer. I won't hesitate to call Carlos and AMC Contracting for my next project.

At first glance everything seemed fine, but then we noticed a large wet spot where paint had clearly been spilled and they tried to clean up without telling us. If this is how they handle a basic job we have no faith in a larger one so have asked for the deposit back and never got the portico. They are responsive about complaints and offered to clean the carpet. They did refund us and when it was clear the carpet was damaged beyond being able to be cleaned they gave us some money to replace it. This is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1.

This company is very small and does not have the capacity, talent, experience, expertise, and bandwidth to handle projects larger than one bathroom remodel. I do believe and hope they can handle very small projects but nothing more. They certainly failed us miserably. Because of their size & staffing, Rodas Constriction LLC lack basic structure, organization, communication, discipline, order and quality. Forget about customer service. For example, I visited my house four times during the renovation process. I found windows fully "open", doors unlocked and the air conditioning or heaters on without anyone present. This led to leaks and moisture penetrating various parts of the house afterward. I communicated these issues to Rodas ownership every time without a favorable result. Nothing changed. In fact, Rodas ownership did not accept responsibility and continued their work. Although small, Rodas ownership is "unusually" arrogant and will never admit to wrongdoings, will never accept accountability and will never own they are being negligent. On top of the mismanagement, negligence, and disorganization, the most important problem was that Didier Enrique Rodas and his company, Rodas Construction LLC, failed to apply for and secure construction permits for the structural work as well as permits for plumbing, electrical and other work they had performed. They didn't get the permits to save money and to avoid to doing their work legally, appropriately, and effectively. This act of non-compliance is against all rules and regulations. And...once you pay Rodas Construction LLC in full, they will forever ignore and avoid your issues and requests. They certainly did for us. We still have several exposed drywall openings they had created and don't want to fix. Rodas Construction LLC is very small company with only a handful of employees. But with their VERY small size, they do have a Director of Marketing who amongst other soliciting activities, he manages social media work. Strange...right? For example, this marketing director will soon respond to this post with an elaborate list of excuses for having failed a client who had paid them in FULL. He is the person who responds to all of my complaints to Didier Enrique Rodas. This company will never accept accountability for its faults, wrongdoings and they will NEVER fix issues they had caused. I can write many pages on the issues I had faced with Rodas Construction LLC. Aforementioned remarks are high level insights so consumers are aware. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS! I do take responsibility for trusting and selecting Rodas Construction LLC. I should have known better. I was desperate. But do your research, check multiple references and do NOT pay anyone especially the people until you are 100% certain about the quality of the work.
