Very unprofessional manager who rests on her Laurel's, I was lucky to have first spoken with a wonderful, fun, energetic, lively sales associate by the name of Texie who seemed very anxious to earn my business, after just a couple phone conversations with Texie I was ready to move in ASAP and asked to wrap up paperwork for the first of Sept. I did not shop around or even see the place, i was given such a good deal and the customer service was top notch. I was given 3 things to help me decide, they said they would waive my first months rent, wave my deposit, they also stated that when the manger arrived on Monday they would get the approval to reduce my rent $25 and make it just $1354.00. First I was asked for a deposit because I wan in a dispute with TX energy about the amount of my final bill when I used them and I showed Rainee properties proof we are in a dispute phase and they forced me to pay the false amount even though that is the only thing negative on my credit report, it was in a dispute phase and a little understanding is all that was needed to make this transition goe well, then secondly when Monday came and I called to speak with the manager Michelle because she has the power to make my rent exactly what Texie had promised me, she would not budge, I had already given them $275 dollars to run my application fee and pay for the admin fees and Michelle knew it, she was constantly condescending me trying to make me feel like I was argumentative and out of line because I was unhappy with her decision to not make what Texie promised come true, she stated I do not have to move in and sign the lease if I don't want to but I will lose the $275 i have put in, I then asked to speak with her superior and she said "the buck stops here". If i don't like it then don't rent from them. I felt trapped, I now know why I love living in the house I have so much, it is a house and I do not have to deal with people like this that just see you as a number, I am in the process of opening a new business and wanted to be closer to the business and thought that by downsizing to an apartment and being frugal this first year of business might help my business for the better and that is why I have chosen this route. I sucked it up and dealt with her insults, as I review the lease, the lease wanted me to sign a section that states I have seen the unit I will be staying in, unit 301 and she wanted me to say nothing was wrong with it even though I have never seen it, i called her this morning to tell her I am not signing that I have seen the unit and nothing is wrong, I told her that is unethical, she asked me why I am always trying to argue, hold up ma'am, last Friday i took you guys for your word but it wasn't in writing and I got screwed, this week, you want me to believe you on something that is not in writing and are calling me an argumentative person because I want it in writing? Well after I express to her how i feel she explains i can email her and she will respond to the email, some what of an addendum to the lease if you will, that is a solution but I could have gone the day without her insults again. I really wish I could send in a complaint on this woman for the way she is treating me and making me feel, this is not a good experience and nothing they do now will ever change that so I am going to post this same review onto all the properties Michelle manages over until someone from corporate responds to me and apologizes, then and only then will I remove this post, or at least update it. read more
