Don't come here if you really care about your car.
I honestly should have listened to my gut instinct, but I came due to recommendation of my friend. My car had 300 miles on it prior to bringing it in. I brought my car in for a tint job on a Saturday. The price was great and I figured since it's just tint, it should be fine. When picking up the car it was pretty cloudy outside as it was about to rain, I noticed there were scuffs on my chrome, I didn't think too much about it, as I figured it was just a bit of dirt. The following day when the sun was out, I inspected the tint. I noticed there were scratches all of over the inside of the tint, one side was curling and around the back window there was a 2 inch visible gap. Also the interior of the car was VERY dirty. Do they not put a cover down?
I will give the owner credit, he did call me back after I voiced my complaints via text even on their off day. I brought the car back in on Monday, and he didn't argue any complaint at all until we got to the chrome. He said they didn't touch the chrome and it must have been something I did or was like that prior. Since I didn't have 100% proof I had to let it go, and also I was blacking it out anyways, so whatever.
He promised to fix the tint job, and before I wanted to do anything else he wanted to make it right. I went ahead and had him black the chrome out on my car since I wanted that look anyways. Hoping that the last issue was just a fluke.
When getting the car back everything looked great, we did a walk around and everything seemed to be on the right track. A few days later I went to roll my window down, and i hear a scratch sound. My window was scratch. Mind you, this car is 350 miles on it at the time, and my first time rolling the window down since it got retinted. He told me that something go into my window but they didn't do it, and there isn't anything they can do. If this was the only issue, fine, but every step of the way there was some neglect and it's hard to trust him on this one. Regardless, I'm now replacing a window. I reached out to him on facebook, to also show him how they scratched the chrome after reaching out to another tint shop. (There is even a video explaining how to tint my specific car without damaging it) They mention when you trick the door into thinking its closed (to keep the window up) and then you close the door it scratches the chrome. After sending this to him telling him he messed up the chrome and here's the proof. He just said come back if I want any more services... Nice.
So all in all (this is a pretty cool story), If you care about your car I wouldn't bring it here. I'm sure they do great work overall, but my experience has been this. read more
