Took my Tesla in for some body work after an accident. Everyone was nice and the service was great through out the time they had my car. Ran into an issue when picking up the car. There was an error message that said the car would not charge. Had to take it to Tesla service center to fix. The issue was 2 ground bolts that were not replaced during the body work. Not covered under my Tesla warranty so I had to pay. Spoke to rep at Metro Tech. He instructed me to bring the invoice in for him to review. He immediately reimbursed me for the payment to Tesla. This is what customer service is all about. Mistakes happen so not upset about that. It is how the company handles it that is important. I would definitely recommend this shop. I have a 2009 Toyota Prius. With these gas prices, hard to give up a car that gets minimum 45 miles to the gallon. I was hit 3/4 of the way down the drives side. Being 14 years old, I did not have collision insurance on it. I was quoted $2000 for a new drivers door and wheel cover piece, painting and everything else that is included. The passenger door was supposed to be repaired. When I picked the car up, they needed to put a new passenger door on, but they did not charge me more from the original quote. They also removed a deep rust spot on the inside of the drivers door, that had nothing to do with the accident. They also noticed my head lights were severely dull and yellowish. They buffed them out to be crystal clear. Above and beyond. I thank Mike and the Metrotech company, so much for their excellent care of my car. read more

The WORST in the city of Detroit. Do not have your car serviced here. They lie and cause confusion, I question their authenticity. May car sat for 3 WEEKS and only needed an oil change!!! Then when I picked it up, my car STOPPED ON ME AND I HAD TO GET IT TOWED!!! I hate this place. You're better off at a regular dealer with REAL mechanics and professional service. Excellent customer service - although they were a few days late on their promised completion time, they kept me updated by phone. They originally estimated it to be $2000 max, but upon further inspection, it ended up being $3000, which I can understand. Unfortunately, after paying $3000 to have multiple parts replaced, I learned that I was billed for items that were not replaced at all, as they are now causing problems and inspected by another mechanic. Seems impossible to find an honest mechanic in Detroit these days. read more

After an unfortunate incident with my car, I not only had to deal with the initial shock but also the ordeal of being messed around by other collision centers and dealers which added to the stress. It seemed that every collision center and dealer just didn't want my business as I was paying out of my own pocket. Eventually I came across Metrotech Collision who had the only 5 star rating on in addition to the number 1 rating on Google for the Detroit metropolitan area. This prompted a phone call to them and I explained my situation. Their response was so friendly, very professional and extremely polite. This was a sharp contrast to the other places I had previously contacted. Right off the bat, Myron, one of Metrotech's employees assured me with confidence that they would take care of everything and work with me every step of the way. After the first phone call they invited me in for a complimentary consultation. I was shown around the premises, which put my mind at ease and I was given a very competitive quote. They even were kind enough to me to bring in my own recommended only OEM parts and advised me on what I would need. They kept me updated through the entire process. They were extremely streamlined and efficient in their process of delivering all that they had promised and much more. They superseded all my expectations. When the car was completed I was called in to inspect it and to my astonishment the car looked even better than it did new!!! Not only did it look fantastic but they had it detailed inside and out! after my new 2018 chevy equinox with only 4k miles was rear-ended i brought it into metro tech (40 minutes away from my house) to get it looked at 2 hours later i was told to bring it in on monday and it will be done on friday, it was not done till monday of the following week but worth the wait. i dealt with sam and mike, the stayed in touch with me and were very understanding. i got a call on monday to let me know that it is ready, when the car was brought around, all i can say is wow, the car was cleaner then what the dealership first gave me the car, the work was perfect, paint was factory, the whole car was touched and blended. but thats only the outside, i get in and the interior is even cleaner, everything that was (water bottles, trash, candy ) was thrown out, everything else was placed in the center compartment, with the floor mats washed and cleaned, i even looked at my miles to see if this is still my car. i could not be more amazed. great job and thank you to metro tech, i have worked with other shops and man i'm glad i made the drive there. read more
