There is a large variety of styles, colors, and sizes in the store as well as matching jewelry. Nidhi was super friendly and helpful from the moment we stepped in. She took into account what colors and styles we preferred and expertly nailed down colors and styles we would like. My husband quickly narrowed down on a golden kurta that fit him very well. I was initially looking for a lehenga (something I had worn before) but Nidhi suggested a sari, which I had never put on before. Once I decided on one I liked, she showed me how to drape it and also pinned it so that it would be easier for me in the future. We really appreciated her help and friendliness throughout the entire process as complete newbies to traditional Indian clothing! I will definitely return in the future if I need another set of Indian formalwear and to have adjustments made on my existing set of lehenga (purchased elsewhere). Thank you!

Every pleat and fold was meticulously placed and ironed, and she makes you feel very beautiful by offering encouraging words of affirmation. She is very professional but extremely kind and beyond attentive. She cares so much about making everyone look amazing and feel comfortable. Sarees can be very tricky depending on the material, and having Chhavi there makes you have to worry about one less thing, leaving you to enjoy more of your special day. To make matters worse, I found out that week that no one would be able to help me pleat and drape the saris that I'd planned to bring. I desperately searched for someone who could pre-pin my saris on short notice, but I didn't have much hope due to the timing. Luckily I found Chhavi, who not only responded to my query almost immediately, but found a way to accommodate my travel timing (I drove from Santa Rosa) so that I could fit our appointment into my work schedule. When I got there, she quickly measured me and explained exactly how she would pleat, iron and pin each sari. When I told her that I had failed to find a lehenga in time, she gave me a recommendation for a designer close by that I could check out while she worked on my saris. But when I mentioned I was concerned about the cost and time to tailor the fit, she took it a step further - she offered me one of her very own beautiful lehengas at a much lower cost! So within 90 minutes of me arriving, she had perfectly pleated, ironed and pinned two saris, she had acted as designer bringing me three lehengas to choose from, and had even altered the top for the lehenga that I chose. She also sent me detailed video instructions on how to put on and secure the pre-pinned sari. I had gone from being utterly unprepared to feeling like a princess ready to own the dance floor. We saw these novelty shirts and saw that the pricing was very reasonable. The quality was decent too, not thin material. All the other stores sold shirts too but this was the only store that we actually noticed for the price. We grabbed 3 of our sizes and paid for them. The dresses were sent to alterations by Vama, Sunday - a few adjustments and we left the boutique for a reception in our outfits. In essentially 48 outfits we went from having nothing to wear to having the perfect outfits. Plus accessories with the option for hair and make up. Vama does it all. What made this experience great - the owner is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The quality vs price was above anywhere else we went. The staff goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this boutique. Find the owner, tell her exactly what you want, and like magic - it will appear. Thank you ladies! We greatly appreciate everything you did for us. On the day of my appointment, the mother-daughter duo helped me fully customize my lehenga and choli based on other things I liked from their website and additional inspo from the webs. I was able to pick and choose fabrics, embroidery types, straps and even the level of fluff under the lehenga. From there, desi aunties took my exact body measurements, asked questions about how Id style the outfit and what level of modesty or immodesty I hoped to have LOL Im very big-chested so it was lovely that they could customize my top for support and coverage.When I came to pick it up, about three months later, I was OVERJOYED. It is literally exactly what I wanted and fits like a glove. I also purchased my haldi and mehendi outfits here, one of which had to be taken out and a stain removed. They did it no problem and offered a discount, too. Every time I am in here, they greet me by name and are incredibly friendly. The selection is insane!! The only reason this is a four instead of five is because I do feel the price point is high for some of the off the shelf items but for custom, I felt the $850 I paid was reasonable especially when a lot of "american" wedding dresses are $1k+ in addition to alterations.

I came to Sari Palace last week at the recommendation of a friend and in hopes of supporting a local business. I came with my sister-in-law to purchase two blue-toned lehengas for a wedding in March. The owner kindly offered two outfits for me to try, both extremely large for me. I asked if they had ones that were closer to my size, but the owner kindly reassured me that they would be able to easily tailor it to my size. We purchased two lehengas, mine for over $400 and my sisters for over $500. Fast forward to pick up today. The initial adjustments were way off and the top way too big. The tailors there tried to adjust it again at which point the seams were way off center, which I brought to their attention. The seamstress then said that it is difficult to tailor this top because of the zipper on the side. I asked if they could try to make it more centered and symmetric. They tried again 3 more times, at which point I had lost all confidence in their ability to appropriately tailor the outfit. None of the seamstresses took accountability for the lack of quality in workmanship, and they tried to convince me that it looked fine. The latest iteration was closest to fitting but still completely off center per the images that I've posted. I asked if I could come back with my husband (to have a second set of eyes) to have it re-adjusted and they said they would charge me for it. Overall, I feel I did not get a product worth the amount I paid. I am left feeling like the owner clearly misled me into believing that the oversized lehenga would be easily tailored to fit me for the purpose of getting my money. The experience shows total lack of integrity, and I cannot recommend Sari Palace in good conscience. Don't waste your time or money.
